YAY! This is brilliant news! I wasn't so sure I'd have the time to bother downloading all the episodes so this is very convenient!

If any of you have e4 but haven't watched BB US before, I would seriously reccommend watching it when it starts on e4. :bigsmile: The format is different to ours though, so you may or may not enjoy it, but personally I love it.

This once again leads me to believe that BB9 UK will have more of a game play theme. First the producer on the C4 forum hints at that idea and now they are airing BBUSA just a few months before BB9 UK starts!

As I looked everywhere to find out when it finished in an attempt to work out an approximate BBUK launch date and couldn't find the BBUS finale date anywhere. Plus it is indeed less of a wait, by then we may have an eye or at least daily star mock ups of eyes stolen from telefan lol. I've not seen BBUS in years, but will watch now I don't have to download lol.

It starts in America on Tuesday 12th February and it starts on E4 on the Thursday 14th February. So it's just two days behind.

Why would you think it was rubbish. That's something I never understood, a lot of the replies to the topic I linked to were saying "is this true?", "do you have a source?" etc, but it was established early on and quite clear from the OP's post that it was sourced from tv listings.

BB6 was my alltime fav BBUS series. I liked most of the housemates in it. I loved Janelle's battles with the 'b*tches' as she puts it. :)

Yeah, the thing about BBUS is that even if the public favors a housemate, they don't win. That's what is so good about it.

It's so much easier for you guys to keep up with BBUS than me for BBUK! 3 Shows a day compared to 1 show every 3 days. :P

Plus the only people who really get "sick" of Big Brother are the casuals, who most probably wouldn't watch this anyway. I'd say only fans are likely to know about it and watch it.

Oh I don't agree with a lot of those,

BB2 was awesome. Birth of Chilltown, Kent/Bunky relationship and Kent's calling out of Hardy. The toothbrush incident and just the overall game play of Dr Will, I loved that season.
BB3 was possibly even better with some great housemates such as Danielle, Roddy, Josh, Marcellas and Amy.
BB4 was pretty crap apart from Alison. Terrible winner.
BB5 was just as bad, with only Jase, Marvin and Diane been the interesting housemates. It had a terrible final two and winner.
BB6 was the best season.
BB7 was good but a lot of great players went too early and other players that were likable in their own seasons became too smug. But it was still good for Dr Will.
BB8 was alright.

I've enjoyed every series, some have been better than others but even the weaker series have been good.

BB2 - Even though there was no Power Of Veto, this series wasn't boring like I thought it would be. The gameplay was still great to watch and there were some great characters, the dynamics of the house were great to watch too.

BB3 - Haven't seen it, hopefully I will sometime.

BB4 - I really enjoyed this, but without Alison I think it would've been dull. Alison was so robbed!

BB5 - Another good season, and it had great players like Nakomis and Diane, and entertaining characters like Jase and Holly!

BB6 - Probably my favourite season. The dynamics were brilliant, the divide within the house really made it interesting and the tables were turning on each divide week by week. Brilliant game-play too.

BB7 All Stars - I still enjoyed this series but in terms of gameplay it was probably the worst, a lot of bad decisions were being made in this, even by Janelle! Maybe this season wouldn't have been so bad if Janelle had at least made the final, I mean, Boogie and Erika? WTF? They shouldn't even be considered "All-Star players" in the first place let alone be in the final of an All-Star cast! A lot of great players went out really early as well.

BB8 - I really enjoyed this but Dick ruined it for me a bit. It was disgusting how Jen got punished for (understandably) destroying Dick's cigarettes, whilst Dick's abuse which provoked her to do it in the first place went unpunished. I also thought the America's Player twist was crap and the final 2 would not have reached anywhere near the final without the aid of the producers and America. There were lots of bad decisions made as well, in terms of gameplay. I could go on for ages about silly mistakes people were making! It was a great series but I do have a lot of complaints about it. :tongue:

First of all I know it's matter of opinion, I wasn't saying you were wrong, just that I didn't agree. :tongue:

I wasn't a big fan of Mike Boogie in Chilltown, don't think he was a good player and no way should he have been in All-Stars. But Dr Will, that guy is a genius game player, he won his series although he was the most hated player by his fellow housemates and he made it to fourth in All-Stars, that is some player.

The reason I didn't like BB4 and BB5 that much was because it didn't have as much game play in it, not good game play anyway, only Alison in BB4 was properly playing the game I feel, although David was good but was evicted too damn early. BB5 there was too many non-entities that ended up staying in the game too long.

Big Brother 6: The dynamic was great.
Big Brother 5: The twin twist was possibly the best twist ever & interesting houseguests.
Big Brother 2: First season of new rules & interesting houseguests.
Big Brother 3: First season of veto & interesting houseguests.
Big Brother 8: Interesting houseguests & America's Player was a good twist.
Big Brother 1: I actually liked the houseguests, but by the time it got to the final 6, uh not so great.
Big Brother 4: The X Factor was a good twist, only thing going for the season.
Big Brother 7: I don't know why so many people found this enjoyable. Perhaps because I had already seen them all inside the house, there wasn't much new to learn from them. The only interesting aspect was to see if they would replay it. Everything fell apart this season though. The coup de etate was a bust. They had to redo a head of household competition. The big endurance competition for the final head of household was over before Julie could even say but first & she nearly had a melt down as her teleprompter & cue cards no longer had accurate information & she never even looked into the right camera. That's why Arnold Shapiro was demoted from Executive Producer to creative consultant.

I don't think people will get bored because it will be mainly just us BB addicts that will be watching the US version. :tongue: Most of the casual viewers probably haven't seen BB since BB8, not that many watched CH, so BB9 will be fresh to them.
