Blackpool is suffering ery badly from high winds
Theres a boat been washed ashore, streets are being closed off due to unsafe buildings and we are being told not to go out unless it is neccesary.
How is everyone else's towns coping?

Here in central London it is ok. There are a lot of high buildings that shield you from the wind. When I get home, as I live by the river, in the docklands, it is more open, and I am sure it will be a whole lot windier there, but it isn't that bad really. It was yesterday though. So no real problem with wind here.

Don't worry, you could always wade out to sea a little bit and have a 'luxury cruise' on that ferry that's washed ashore.

Blackpool has been through the wars lately
last week the water and power went faulty and College had to close
Freezing. Windy. Hailstoning. So what do they go and do? Set off the fire alarm in college for another practice. But oh no. Only one building. Only the newest one which is furthest away and is a long walk (about 5 mins) round to the front!
