Rubbish IMO

I think it is possible that the showscould have a revamp, but I doubt they will be axed.

BTW very misleading title.

in not bothered.. this way the funding will go to the main BB show rather than pointles spin offs.. i did like BBLB but im not too bothered that its going, it wouldnt be the same without Dermott anyway.

Sounds like BB9 is going to be the series of change.

If it's true then it's good news !! We need new spin-off shows.

They may as well axe BBBM, it's rubbish now. It's worth giving BBLB a try with a new presenter though, then they can axe that too if it doesn't work out.

I don't know how reliable the site is but I definitely wouldn't be surprised at BBBM being axed.

Good news I'd say. BB9 looks like it really will mark a new change for the series and that is what is needed. I wouldn't mind seeing one spin-off show, maybe on just once or twice a week, just a quick catch up of events and a couple of guests on.

They want it to be different I think. Just like after BB4, BB5 really changed the style and format of the show. I think they are looking to do something on the same proportions for BB9 but with a brand new theme and format. Maybe the game play theme that has been hinted at a lot.

They should have a show on Wednesdays and Sundays for an hour IMO

The only Big Brother series to have a permanent 9pm slot was BB8 (and look at its ratings). I think a move to the original 10pm slot is great.

BBBM is rubbish now and I rarely have the time or inclination to watch it or BBLB. This is great news because it means they are really changing the series.

Thank god, i really hjope they change the series

I loved bb5 but there is only one problam, if bb9 is the next bb5 then bb10 will be rebish becuse it will be in the shadow off bb9 even if it is a good series like bb6

Look at BB8. I know some didn't like BB7, but that was a great series. Then after BB8 was rubbish because of how good BB7 was. If you get me?

I disagree. Just because a series is regarded "sucessful", doesn't mean the following series will be bad as a result. BB8 was bad because the producers didn't pull their fingers out of you know where, not because BB7 was good. BB6 was one of my favourite series and that followed BB5. I know it didn't get that high ratings but it is still considered as a sucessful series.

I hope they come up with something new, that would be good. I think that its time for a change.

An alleged insider on another forum said that BBBM would not be returning anyway. BBLB will return, but the name and host will be changed in the way that Big Brothers Big Brain became Big Brother On The Couch. I think they should try to scrap as many spin offs as possible and integrate some where possible such as merging the debate aspect of BBBM into "BBLB" where the audience give their views. It would work if the spin off aired at 9pm on E4, with the main show on Channel 4 at 10pm (including evictions at 10pm) and the debate aspect doesn't have to be censored and it can just show Big Brother isn't necessarily child friendly anymore, which it has never been IMO. The psychology show could easily slot back into the Sunday highlights and Diary Room Uncut could run on Saturdays at 9pm with Nominations Uncut on a Sunday at 9pm, perhaps nominations which took place earlier in the day. Spin offs and live feeds on E4 should definitely be relaxed. Sometimes less is more.

Lol did you really think before writing this ?

BB8 was rubbish in your opinion. For some it was a great series or a nice one. Maybe not the best but it can't be considered as the worst one. And none of the series can be considered as worst or best, it all depends people's opinion.

Yeah but I think by the majority BB8 is considered the worst series. Even the producers know it didn't work. It had a terrible cast of housemates, very bad tasks and lots of pointless twists that fell flat.

So there is just big brother 9 and thats it? No BBBM or BBLB :puzzled: They may as well put big brother 9 on E4 then permanently

Also, I thought Mat & James said "We will see you very soon" at the end of BBCH. I may be looking to much into it but it was sain a way which made me think they would be back for BBBM. Unless they are back as BBLB hosts.

The bb8 housemates would have been good, but in other series.
Charlie in bb6 becuse all they did was arge, twins in bb4 becuse that was the "NICE" series, caroel in bb7 to argue with snoozy, chanell in bb5 to get up vansesaas back, and all others NEVER again oh and laim in bb6 to for the battle of the aptha male beetween maxwell and ant

I don't think they'll be back at all. It was put to the producers that they weren't very well liked. They probably meant one of their many other projects.

That's great to hear, they were horrible presenters.

I don't want BBLB axed, but I really just watch BBBM for the great VTs. :P
