BB7 was the last legendary series

After BB7, every other Big Brother hasn't had an impact to be a great series, Celeb Hijack, CBB5 and BB8 have all flopped, with BB9 might be the last BB sries.

I agree, apart from CBB5. It was action packed and never dull.

It was far from "legendary". It may have been regarded as good but there are only two Big Brothers which are seen as "legendary" and that's BB3 and BB5.

And you can't really compare it to CBB5 or Celebrity Hijack because they're different formats.

So basically BB7 was the last good series before BB8. Not so impressive really seing as it was the last series before BB8.

Agree with you.
But the fact that it was still a highly rated, sucsessful series, despite so many terrible cock-ups by bb and Endemol, just goes to show how strong a house it was.
BB3 and 5 had none of the problems that were needlessly heaped on bb7. If they had, then they too would have suffered, no matter how great it's hm's might have been.

It had so much going on, in highlight feed that it was immpossible to fit all that in the highlight show.

bb7 was definatly the last properly good big brother...
it had the big brother summer feeling.. and the tasks were all really good and all the housemates were really good characters with a good balance of arguments

Agree, and all of the characters were also original, which was the biggest highlight.

BBCH was the last great series and didn't flop.
BB7 was far from being legendary and CBB5 had a bigger impact, with politics and stuff.

And BB9 won't be the last series as C4 and Endemol have signed for 2 more series.

C4 and Endemol have a contract until BB10.

Every year they will try to make improvements and change things. Last big brother was a real change bringing all the women in first and many complained about that and ratings werent that good if I remember. I really am enthusiastic about big brother 9 and hope it will be the best.

On the topic at hand, I wouldnt say bb7 was legendary it was a good series but Pete got the sympathy vote and he drove me up the wall imo:mad:

Pete winning isn't any different to any other winners, I also shocked with Celeb Hijack winner, out of other HM in the final, the public chose this borefest loser.:mad:

After BB6, I don't know what happened. BB7 was entertaining, but nowhere near as amazing as BB5 and BB6. I think that it was really a turning point to a very complex and manipulated era of Big Brother despite its watchability.
