Having any pancakes today?did you but them or are you actualy going to make some.whats your favourite toppings?

It was on the 2nd of february for us. My mum made 50 (but we are 4 at home lol) It's just so delicious.
And ours are called Crêpes:

It's typically french. UK= Fish & Chips, France= Crêpes (or french pancakes lol). :hugesmile:

Yeah making some tonight with lemon sugar and syrup over them.
best topping is maple syrup.mmmmmmmmm
I just like sugar on mine.Forgot all about it though so wont be having them :sad:
I like mine with maple syrup or vanilla ice cream (or both :tongue:). The french usually have savoury toppings on them don't they? Like cheese and ham.

Just cooked for the family lol...I do special ones :tongue: 1 pancake, with caramelised strawberries and bananas, topped with another pancake, with double cream dribbling on the top. :)

It may be a surprise but I have never eaten one in my life. My parents never bothered and neither does my wife. Its Ash Wednesday tomorrow so that means plenty of 'ash'..cigarette ash :yuk:

I AM SO ANGRYYY !
no one was in so i thought i would try and make some and it turned out a right disaster !
They all where sticking to the stupid pan and i had to scrap them off :mad:
They where so horrable and when i tried it it was all gewy !!
grrr
Mother did some before which were good, then I attempted about 2 or 3 about half an hour ago and I dropped the pan, never put enough oil in, when I flipped it it went half over the side and I set the smoke alarm off!!! By the end of it it looked like scrambled egg. I never ate it :laugh:

Everyone in mine forgot untill it was too late so we haven't bothered.
I'm the only one who eats them though, everybody else just likes them to flip in the pan.

seriously there is an art to it, you were by the sounds of it trying to turn them to soon, they need to be more or less set before you try turning, I will come teach you to make them :kiss: There is a little bit of an art to it and I am an artist lol

For the first time last night i added ice cream to it never again:yuk:Think ill just stick with lemon and sugar next year.
