OFF with his big head. . . Extras star Ricky Gervais reckons he’s the King of Comedy.

Ricky dressed up as Henry VIII to promote his latest Channel 4 show, Ricky Gervais: New Hero Of Comedy.

The funnyman, 46, has won a slew of awards over the years but claims he’s never yet given a “humble” acceptance speech.

Unlike the real king Ricky would have made a great match with Catherine of Arrogant!

The interview is in Radio Times on sale today.

Ricky is too big for his boots, he went to the US and the flight must have done something to his head because now its too big to get back on it :bored:

Because he's dressed up as Henry VIII he's now bigheaded? What a load of bollocks.

His arrogance IS the main reason he's funny.

And is anyone else pissed off with crappy puns used in the Sun? Catherine of Arrogant? I just want to shout swear words at whoever comes up with these.

He's struck lucky. The office was great but Extras wasn't yet still won a couple of Golden Globes. His next project could be make or break for him.

I really don't find him funny at all, I know his arrogance is meant to be funny but still he's just dull and uninteresting. He's got all the comic wit of a dead donkey and the charisma to match in my opinion.

He's not funny, i dont get him and his humor. Imo there are far better comedians then him.

I think he is class. Here is some stuff from about 10 years ago when he was just starting out really.

I think he's brilliant. His arrogance is a character - in real life he's actually pretty shy.

I have nothing against him but I find him really unfunny, I guess his humour just doesn't appeal to me.
