At GCSE level, I hated Biology - so didn't even consider continuing it. Now, I absolutely detest Maths & Chemistry with a passion... I'm so thick at them. In holidays etc., my work habits are a tad strange - if I have 10 days off, I'll spend the first 6 messing about and the next 4 working solidly. And usually I'm spending most of that time doing stupid Maths exercises I can't do, which others seem to breeze through.

Makes you wonder why I chose to do them post-GCSE.

Maths-Never was any good at it and just found it boring.

Science-On the whole it was just tedious.

Systems & Control-Seeing as we had to do one of the technology at GCSE level I went with Electronics as that was at least useful, for some unknown reason they decided to change it to a new subject called systems and control, which ended up being the single biggest waste of 2 years worth of lessons.I'm surprised that I managed not get an ungraded.

Its better than taking Systems for an option, do half the coursework the change it to Electronics at the end of year 10. I failed  I think I did, I can't remember my grades. TBH I can't even remember what I got grades in!

I like History and English , because im naturally good at both those subjects , and I actually have a real , genuine interest in them.

I hate everything else , which is why I cant wait to go to Uni , to do stuff I actually like and drop the useless , unnecessary , tedious stuff like Irish and Maths.

Then once I go to Uni , ill spend two months stoned before realising 'this whole education thing aint working out'.

Thats life :).

I used to HATE P.E. But last year I just started walking off site during it. Now instead of wasting two hours on a Friday morning doing **** all, I go to other lessons.

I also finds Maths really boring, and Science.

When I was in school I hated english and maths, because I'm just useless at both. And now in college I hate apllication of number and english (I had to re-sit english GCSE).

I always hated pe, endless lessons of hanging round the corner of the sports hall with the teacher shouting "do something richard!! move richard!!" for the whole hour. I don't know why he bothered, whenever I tried to participate I would always accidentally score an own goal or something similar, I was useless.

P.E. was a crock of **** for the most part (like most other people have said), but the coursework we had to do for Geography in Year 11 was beyond excruciating.

Citizenship.

Not sure what's with all the PE replies tbh! P.E and woodwork were like, the only subjects in school that weren't boring.

27-10-2014, 06:32 AM
..apart from the 'practical' in biology which I hated, I don't think I disliked any subject at all, but more disliked certain years/tutors who conveyed the subject with no enthusiasm to evoke interest at all...

Jay.
27-10-2014, 06:52 AM
dance because I couldn't dance
citizenship and R.E because we had a different teacher every week
Art because the teacher used to kick boxes at the back of the room because he was a man child
oh and Biology because all we did was dissect kidneys each week and that's rather disgusting.

I would say P.E but I actually enjoyed it by the end, I mean in the whole of year 10 I didn't have one lesson but in year 11 it was actually quite fun.

After I'd picked my GCSE options which were:

Geography
Drama
Health and Social care
French
Graphics

I pretty much liked all my subjects apart from Physics

Before GCSE's my worst subject was Art because I LOATHED my teacher
