bb6, as it had the best room ever, THE LOFT.
The BB4 house was very nice as well, shame about the rest of the series.
BB6. CBB4 had the best diary room chair. I liked the loft.
The worst one has to be BB7 because it was very dark.

I loved the outside pool area with that huge arced wooden roof.
The curves were great, it gave the house a very soft feel. The walls looked like they were made from suede.
I'd choose the BB6 house WITH the BB7 Bedroom.

From my love list, I'd have: BB6 main area/kitchen and dining area, CBB5 bedroom and garden, BB4 bathroom (I loved that bath and the colour! lol) BB8 Germany pool and Gym and then the BB8 US second floor with the lights behind the sofas. Dont think the mix of countries would work well together though!

BB8 was the worst house ever, it was just a series of boxes. Rubbish and boring.
BB7 was the best house ever, the diary room was brilliant, I loved the bedroom and the wallpaper in the garden was gorgeous. the only thing i disliked was the 'sofas' in the lounge whereas the only thing i liked in the bb8 house was the diary room

It's not about PC. I think you don't realize how much those little quotes can be hurting, that's why I did quote what you said.
A few days ago, I learnt that Mr Rude will be french, how do you think I did react ? And I still didn't accept it because it's unfair.

Can you please justify how being labelled "over the top" is so derogatory and hurtful?
Yes it's a stereotype that the Italians are very emotional and theatrical but why is it necessarily a bad thing? It's more of an identity than a stereotype.
And it has everything to do with political corectness. In today's society you can barely utter an opinion on someone else without fear of being labelled "racist", "homophobic" or "sexist".
And lastly I would like to reiterate it was a joke.

You just said it, it's a stereotype. Maybe no one ever told you a stereotype or whatever about your nationality but when you hear that all the time because you are russian, italian and french and because your family did suffer about it when they have been in France then you can understand why and how I react.
And it's far from being political corectness, I'm strongly against that, and I never said you were a racist.
I think you definately can't understand how it can't be hurting, maybe your exemple is not the strongest one but everytime I read something like this, it drives me mad.
And it's definately not an opinion, as you said it's a stereotype, you will have to learn the difference.
So do you know any italian person ? Or you just have read that in the papers, internet or whatever ?

Don't you think when it was renovated for CBB5 it looked much more amazing. I loved the theme and everything. Close compeditor to BB6! During BB7 I think it was dull, and the only colours used were red, white, purple and blue.

Again I don't think you justified how my original comment can be deemed hurtful. Can you justify it? In another thread you said "English people make me cringe". Can you explain how this sweeping comment is any different? I don't think stereotypes are a bad thing at all. Where would we be with out stereotypes? Does that mean you cannot have an opinion on something or someone you have never met? People make assumptions and stereotypes everyday, knowingly or not, as I'm sure you have.
And the fact that most Italians are emotional is a very profound stereotype and is not negative or insulting in any way. And I don't know any italians personally but I don't base my opinions solely on what the papers/internet have to say. I form my opinions from famous italians, italians I see on the television, in films, on the street etc. I've also been to Rome twice.
And it is to do with political correctness. 30 odd years ago such a comment would have never been picked upon yet today, the sensitive, self righteous PC brigade of our generation would be on your back in no time.
Captain.Remy

Because it's untrue and not all the italians are like this. It sounds like they open their mouth all the time or they show off, I know those stereotypes. I recognise some are but the whole Italy is not like this.
For my comment, I never said "we know all english people are....", I meant that most people I know and who are English (then a lot) make me cringe. It's definately not a stereotype because I know some are annoying like everywhere else.
And Italians are emotional like anybody else, it's full of rubbish, some got strong chracters, maybe too strong, some show off, some are like this etc....
I'm not saying this is your fault because everything on medias tend to give stereotypes but it's hardly untrue.
So, I have never been in USA right but I'm not going to say "American people are all fat" because I have read some statistics on a paper, as I said, it's hardly your fault, some people accept the stereotypes, some think about it and tend to make the diference.
Edit: This is off-topic and I'm sure a mod is going to remind us.

It wasn't really offensive,I just wanted to know what you meant by the quote.
He probably means over the top referring to Emilia and Victor and them having no emotins(which they do).
But lets just forget about it, it wasn't hurtful to me but Im just saying it could of offended someone else, even though Im Italian.

Are you ? My mother is italian and during her childood in France she was really hurted by this, they called her "big mamma" etc..., so that can explain how today I can't accept that kind of 'jokes' (sorry I can't see how it was one).

I love Sicily, it's so awesome, my mother is from Roma, such an amazing place, I spend most of holidays there.
Well you actually said "English people make me cringe". Which is a sweeping statement because you said "English people". This implies everyone from England makes you cringe, so you are being very hypocritical. And a lot of Italians are emotional and passionate so it is true, you only have to look at their culture to see this. Yes it doesn't apply to everyone (far from it) but stereotypes never do (I hate using the word "stereotypes" because people always see it as a bad thing). If you asked someone random in the street to impersonate an Italian they will most probably use very large hand gestures and speak very theatrical and loud. Yes it's a stereotype, but it's an accepted one. If you asked someone from America to impersonate someone British they would most like put on a posh accent and pretend they're drinking tea, I don't know.
I don't want to discuss this anymore because you are begining to sound like a preacher so let's just drop it.
