Hollyoaks' Jake tries to kill baby

Hollyoaks hunk Jake Dean apparently tries to murder his own son in a shocking new storyline.

Madman Jake - played by Kevin Sacre - kidnaps baby Charlie and tries to gas himself and his son to death in his car in a gripping plot twist, according to the Daily Star.

A source said: "At last people realise Jake has lost the plot, but is it too late."

Deranged Jake breaks down after losing his bitter custody battle with wife Nancy, played by Jessica Fox.

Nancy tells police Jake tried to attack her on their wedding day and his sister Steph, played by Carly Stenson, though devastated at having to betray her brother, backs up Nancy's story.

When mum Frankie, played by Helen Pearson, confronts Jake he confesses everything, but then runs away with Charlie.

After receiving a desperate text from him, Nancy guesses where he is and rushes to save Charlie. She pulls the baby from the car, leaves Jake in the fume-filled vehicle, hoping she is free of him at last.

But there is one last shocking twist of events in store...

Sounds good, but Daily Star have lied about HO before so I take it with a pinch of salt for now.

Why have HO turned Jake into a complete evil person. It's just not really consistent with his character.

They didnt though, its bbeen a gradual thing that has been happening gradually.

Yeah it happens Friday.. but Nancy thinks Jake is dead but it says she could be in for a big shock!!! x
