Ok, I thought I should try and make my own house. I have been working on it on and off for a while now, so I thought I should upload it.

It's not very good, but I would mainly like help, so you could suggest what I can do to Improve for in the future. I can take good and bad comments!

I think by far the eye, and outide are the worst, and the entrance isnt to good, but bear with me!

So, here is they eye, which is based upon a illusion.
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/billboardeye.jpg

Here is the outside of the house, which is in my view the weakest part

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Oustide1.jpg

Here you can see the basic layout of this years show. As you can see, the big standing out is the lift, which is a new introduction to this years house. Because it is pretruding from the house, it will block the audiences view of the Plasma screen, hense their our two screens this year.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Oustide3.jpg

Here you can see the stairs, and the red 'carpet' the housemates will walk along. The area to the right of the stairs is where the photographers will stand. On launch night, this will also act as a area for the housemates Friends and Familiy to stand.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Oustide4.jpg

In this photo you can see the entrance to the lift, which has a large eye printed on. You can also see the stand where Davina will announce the results.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Outside2.jpg

Finally here is the Interview room, where the housemates will recieve their interviews, and Davina will talk to the crowd. This room has two plasma's which will show the housemates their VTs and Live footage from the house. It is covered in images of the eye.

I love the eye and the idea of a lift.

but the eye doesn't look right all over the studio.

It's good for a first try.

I don't think Davina should stand THAT close to the screen to announce eviction results.

How do the housemates get on to the red carpet?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. On launch night the stage will be changed round, and the evitcion studion wont be in use. Instead the path will lead from the right hand, to stairs, at a 90 degree angle.

When saving them as Images, what file type do you reccomend I save them as for the best quality?

So, dont you think its time we saw the house?

You may of noticed, the lift doesn't actually travel that far, however, that isnt the way its portraied to the housemates.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/untitled.png
1 2 3 4

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/lift2.png
1 2 3 4

In these Image you can see what the housemates will see when they enter the lift. Their are no walls on the side of the lift, just a floor. As the housemates go down they will see the numbers from one to five. But hang on, according to this their is still one more floor, as the house is on floor two!
Could their be another house, or is it just a trick?

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Liftbootom.png
1 2 3 4

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/boringentrancecorridor.png
1 2 3 4

Finally, in the last image you can see the corridor the housemates will walk along when leaving the lift. The corridor was included as it will act as a exit from the diary room to the lift. The room is deliberately rather plain, as it will act as a "study" for one of the tasks. The red door will leading from the lift will also open upon the control of big brother, but the door leading in to the house open's upon the housemates will.

This year, the kitchen is very "Pink"! You may of noticed the entrance area had a very "checkered" theme, and this is used to play against the pink.

The kitchen & living area is based upon childhood, with simple colours, simple storage and other objects and phrases.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Kitchen1.png
1 2 3 4

This is from the far end of the kitchen, and in the photo you can see the low down cubards, which along with the fridge are inserted in to the wall.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/kitchen2.png
1 2 3 4
This photo is looking from the far end of the kitchen to the rest of the kicthen. You can see how the pink contrasts with the checkers, trying to create the image of innocence verses evil.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/kitchen3.png
1 2 3 4

Here is the cooking "Island", and has a bright pink cooker, almost like a dolls, and hobs spread around unevenly. The pink circle acts a storage food area, with baking trays inserted in.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Kithenall.png
1 2 3 4
This final image is looking at the kitchen in general, and you can see all of the details.

This year the housemates eating area is rather cramped. The seat are a light transparent pink, and are made from a durable glass. It is on raised checkered tiles, and has a curved blue barrier seperating it from the kicthen. The main colour here is blue, to contrast to the heavy use of pink in the kitchen. On the wall their is a space for the two "Master" housemates names, who will earn extra house privilliges, as explained later in the house tour.

1 2 3

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Diningarea2.png
1 2 3
This photo is looking down at the eating area, and you can see the entrance and diary room corridor, aswell as pretruding coloured bricks, based on a rubix cube theme.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/LivingArea.png
1 2 3
This photo is looking at the living area. This house, as many of the BB houses has many glass wall's, here looking on to the garden, the bedroom, and whats that? Some mysterious empty round room. (Not seen in this shot). However, I didn't make the bean bags. (Do you mention stuff like this?)

The main bedroom has a very bb6/sea theme.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/bedroomone.png
1 2 3

Here is the main bedroom. This bedroom has five beds, all of which take two people. Their are no single beds this year, and all housemates must share. The Inserts in the wall all act as storage facilities, which is limited in this years house. The black also has storage facilities. Each housemate is assigned a number, and they must store their belongings in this given area. Annoying eh? Especially seeing the numbers change after every task!

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/bedroom2.png
1 2 3

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x129/barcetabrian/Bedroom3.png
1 2 3

The above two photos show the rest of the bedroom. You can see their is a "ocean" image on the wall, which is adiing to the "sea"/tacky theme of the bedroom. The end two walls are painted like water. The doors at the end both lead seperate way's, in to "The Master Rooms", which are both private room's for the deserving housemates of that week.

Yeah, I thought I should include them. I saw lots of your furniture, its very good. Dont worry, I will mention it, as everything I got off the 3D warehouse (Plants, Sunchairs and Beanbags) I will say when i reach that point.

Its all finished now, but I will leave the other photos to later.

Keep them coming!

And if I do another house, do you have any tips that could make my houses better?

Conor suggest I shouldn't use so many checkers, so i made a alternate entrance corridor.

For the first time ever in BBUK history, the entrance corridor is curved. When leaving the lift, the housemates will enter what will be known as the "Bannana Room", which is the entrance/exit room.

Thanks DT.

So now dont you think is time that we saw those two bedrooms, leading off of the main bedroom?

These two bedrooms are for the winning male and female of that weeks task. This is just one of many priviludges they will have.

The two doors lead in to two seperate corridors, which are just plain blue and plain pink.

They will then enter their luxury bedroom.

Room 112

This year the lounge is situated in the garden.

It is called the greenhouse, but this is a pun, as its the
biggest area in the house where housemates are less visible.

When housemates have broken rules, they will not be allowed here.

Housemates will sit here for eviction.

When the housemates leave the garden or the bedroom, they will walk alongside the first pool. This is a longer pool, and has a famous print on the wall. The yellow door leads to a second garden.
