EVIL Big Brother is locking the booze away — until things get flirty or dirty, TV Biz can reveal.
Until now, housemates have bought it from the weekly shopping budget.

But in BB5, it will be padlocked in the fridge — and producers will only open it to spice things up.

An insider said: “We don’t want the shopping arriving with the alcohol, then housemates having a blow-out and being bored for the rest of the week.

“If the booze is kept under lock and key, we can control as and when they have access to it.

“So, say if things are getting fruity and some of the housemates are getting flirty, Big Brother will call someone into the Diary Room and give them the key to the fridge.

“It means we could be watching drunken antics every night.”

The BB5 sofas were unveiled yesterday.

Housemates will have to sit up straight on the big blue couches because the backs are low.

And the one-way mirrors slant in the tiny green sitting room — making it more difficult for contestants to spot the cameramen.

It all starts on Friday.

The only time that booze has really been plentiful in the house was during BB3 and looked what happened there.

The rest of the time they had to make do on the occasional treats from BB and cider. They seemed to have a good time without the booze though.
