BB UK vs BB USA

I'm an American viewer who has just recently watched BB UK seasons 6 and 7. I'd be interested in reading people's opinions on which show format you like better the USA or the UK format.

The main thing that I love about the USA show is that the players are the ones doing the voting and evicting, and I love seeing the "politics" of the game. The only thing that would make the American version absolutely perfect would be if it were on every night like the UK show.

When I first started watching the UK show, I was a bit thrown off that the housemates weren't allowed to discuss nominations. But I got used to that, and I actually enjoy everything about how the UK show works. And I love that since we get an episode everyday, the Uk version can actually show more lenghty conversations and show more of what's going on in the house than the USA game can.

So, I'm a huge fan of both shows. Do any of you watch any of the other English speaking versions of BB from other countries? If so, how do they compare with the USA and UK games?

BBUK. I look forward to it each year and I'm even looking forward to BB9 after BB8. American BB isn't must see for me, its just something to watch.

I like both the UK and USA versions.

I really like the game play aspect of the USA version which makes the show entertaining but overall I think the UK version is a lot better.

Now the UK version needs changing so I would like to see the game play aspect for BB9

I actually can't wait until season 9 starts so that I can watch it everyday. I'm on a brief leave of absence from my job because of some minor surgery, and I basically watched seasons 6 and 7 back to back all in about 3 weeks time. I was having dreams about the house at night! It'll be nice to actually watch it when it's happening.

I only watch US and UK. And frankly I like them both. I lived in the US, so I watched that one till BB6. Then I moved to the UK, and I started watching their BB7. I think they shoud both stay the way they are. The US version is more strategic. The UK has to be more real. Housemates have to make the outside public like them, so its totally different. you cant really g wreckless. My only problem with the UK, is they tend to lose vocal and strong characters rather quickly, because they irritate the public, and get voted out. But most of the times fans regret it after the show start becoming too much like the Brady bunch. I have to say, I usually enjoy the UK BB in the first month or so. After that, it becomes too calculated. But I do like them both. I wish the UK BB adapted the power of veto. And I wished the US adapted the no nominations discussion part. can you imagine how dificult it would be for them to form alliances? I think it would be more interesting!

After watching BBUK for so many years, and then watching BBUS for the first time this year, i've come to the conclusion that BBUK is the better show. I can't get into BBUS at all, the HoH things don't seem to work and I don't like the idea of the public not voting for the couple that they want to evict.

I'm from the US and I choose BBUK. BBUS is a good format, don't get me wrong, but I just think that it's a bit too repetitive. The same HOH competitions every season, the same bullying, and this season of all has the nastiest people who will obviously win.

At least in BBUK, the villain loses.

Im really enjoying BBUSA but BBUK is better because I love the whole crowd aspect and that we are involoved by voting whoever we want out.

You should try BB Austrailia. It incorparates both elements. The public decide who goes and who stays but they have a version of the PoV so the housemates have a little control. Also they are SOOO strict on nominations reasons. It can't be like "I don't think anyone else will nominate Jack" or "Jacks the only one who hasn't been up." they have to be proper. Someone has about half of BB7AUS on Daily Motion.:dance:
