To anyone on Tibb that fancies making a Eurovision / Gig stage design using sketch-up.. post it here !! just for fun ... Il post mine soon.. So anyone want to have a go ?

Yes, It's based on last years Eurovision stage. I loved it soo much! I thought you would have already realsied lol. Anyway, I put my own personal touch too it :hugesmile:

:conf2: What the hell stage did I inspire from then?? It must be Greece, cause the sets blue and white, and so is their flag. And the show was hosted in Greece in 05.

It is awesome, I wouldn't know where to start if I had to make that. Did you make it from scratch today, or have you been working on it for a while because it didn't take you very long to post it in this thread

You can export models from the library on sketchup, and you can edit them i think/change them

In simple terms.

1. I put on Sketch up
2. I took a pic of Google Images
3. I did the stage.
4. I relcoloured, edited by adding and didnt inclue some bits I didn't want.
5. I took a screenshot

Well, look what I did in 6 mins. The other one took almost half an hour. Looks like that rules out the fast time issue Another 20 odd mins and I'd finish this stage:

And as for the stage being built, all I can say is that I promise I did make it. Fire another real stage you'd want me to build at me tommorrow. That will also rule out the issue about me not being able to build a stage from scratch, just because theres another on Sketch up. I cant help that :S

I have realised that over time on this forum, if a member will do something remotly similar to something else its always

You just used this one, you just inverted the colours, you just blended videos together, you just found that of google images you liar, you never made that, you never remixed that, you never edited that. And you get pelted and pelted over and over. Its not always the case. And I know a member pelting me right now just a few months back was critisised for coping other peoples sketch up houses. :whistle:

The only way anyone would know if I didnt make this stage on TIBB would be if I was in the same room as them whist I was making it...

I dont think it matters how they produced the stage design, no-one said you had to draw it all from scratch, just produce something was all.

i dont use sketchup that much so hence the reason why it looks dodgy & rubbish
the curvy thing in the background is the screen that is the width of the stage.
