Okay.
Basically, I recently applied to two colleges, and one sixth form.
One college's to do a BTec in Performing Arts, and I have an interview with them next week and that's fine, though I'm nervous about that audition.
However, the second college that I applied to I don't really want to attend, but it's worth applying anyway. I applied to do A level music [along with others] but I've got to do a Music Interview, which involves me performing. I haven't had a singing lesson in over a year, so I obviously have NOTHING prepared. I could do one of the songs that I performed in the past, but I'll need to run over them and there's no chance of me being able to rehearse properly with a piano because my school's kinda crappy like that.
So yeah..
advice on how to cope with nerves =/
I'm used to nerves as a performer, but I can't rely on the adrenaline rush I usually get when I get on stage because.. there isn't a stage?
&any ideas for music interviews, or what I could sing. Piano accompaniment will be used if needed, but i dont even know if I want that =/
EDIT;; just went through some songbooks I have, and here's some of the songs I'm particularly good with:
Tainted Love :: Soft Cell [my fave lol]
Let It Be :: The Beatles.
Everybody's Changing :: Keane
She Will Be Loved :: Maroon 5
Sway :: Michael Buble
Wherever You Will Go :: The Calling
Hurt :: Christina Aguilera [transposed down of course]
