MGS 4 Released 12th June!!

It a PS3 EXCLUSIVE ONLY. Kojima has STATED that MGS 4 will remain on PS3.

Funny that he said that too about Metal Gear Solid 2. Plus the 360 is almost in twice as many households as the PS3. Kojima-San may be rethinking his ways in about a years time :wink:.

Have you read the OFFICIAL Kojima website??? he said around a month ago that he WOULD OF CONSIDERED making MGS 4 360 BUT he STATED that the PS3 is much better to work with and he has a contract with Sony. and the PS3 imo is more powerfull then 360 and has a stronger future im even considering selling my 360

He also 'would have considered' making Metal Gear Solid 2 for the Xbox circa 2001.

Virtually every developer on the planet finds the 360 simple to work with while finding the PS3 a nightmare to work with. Hence the delays of Unreal Tournament III and Grand Theft Auto 4. Hence why in certian publications , the absymal Wii version of Smackdown Vs. Raw scored higher than the PS3 version.

The PS3 is more powerful than the 360 yes , but so again was the Xbox more powerful than the PS2. And if you read these Kojima articles a little more , he stated that MGS4 could be done on the 360.

Stronger future? That remains to be seen , but considering Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of the only PS3-exclusive titles im looking foward to , I would - on a personal level - have to say 'no'.

the PS3 is already outselling 360 in japan and is selling well here to.. MGS4 wil be PS3 must have game i only brought an xbox & 360 for Halo.... PS3 also has HOME, Haze, Killzone 2 which looks better then 1st 1, Resistance 2 the PS3 has a great year ahead

I don't think MGS4 and other PS3 exclusives will as successful as the Xbox 360 exclusives.

And the 360 has been outselling the PS3 everywhere BUT Japan and Australia for about 12 months bar any months its been in shortage. If you 'brought' an Xbox 360 only for Halo , you really are missing out on a lot. Expand your horizons beyond the worlds greatest 7/10 shooter. And really , what about all the other points I made? All your doing to defend your point about MGS being PS3 exclusive so far is speaking like someone in the backpocket of Sonys advertising department.

Im not disagreeing. The PS3 IS a great console but it lacks the software to show off just how great it is.

The PS3 is the better console but Morpheus is right the games are not saying much. Give it 2/3 years when the PS3 is half the price it is now and coders are more familiar with it, the PS3 will show its true potential.

However, since Micocrosoft has had such a head start on Sony, it may take a bit longer for the sales figures to show any PS3 dominance.

yeah exactly... the PS3 has the stronger furure gaming wise there are great games coming this year and that will continue even though Resi 5 is on 360 as well i heard that the PS3 will have exclusive content and a different ending so ive heard.

MGS 4 is going to be my best game this year.

It has a strong future gaming wise but not the strongest.

If your going to be picking consoles and defending them to death without realising the great potential ALL THREE have , the only person missing out is you.
