OK, as promised, I've begun posting my BB9 project!!

I'll begin with the eye, and then we'll go to the studios later today... possibly :tongue:

Anyway, you've all saw it before, so not much detail. It's the eye!

- Overview:

- Every part of raised flooring lights up.
- There is a seating area, Little News desk, performing area and a walkway displaying the HM's pics.
- A glass screen seperates the BBLB studio from the BBBM studio.
- The stage can be cleared for a bigger performing area.

i love everything except for the eye template,i dont usualy like eyes when paets of is are just moved left or right.and LOL at the people dancing in the BBLB studio

lol thanks BB-rod-BB, but alot of practice and experience has gone into making this house, considering it's my 5th and I've been using Sketch up for a while, I'm sure you'll be just as good or better in no time at all! :spin2:

Points:

- The stairs are designed to make housemates feel chlostrephopic and uncomfortable.
- For only the second time ever, the eye is the same clour as the entrance walls.
- The walls are also shattered like the eye.
- The door is not made of gold, just yellow/shiny plastic.
- Where does that second door lead to? Is it a fire exit? A decoy? A house? ...or nothing. :sad:

From here on in, this house is going to be very diffirent... 'Citin!

- This area has been virbrantly and simply designed.
- It has a comfortable workspace with all appliances within reach of each other.
- For the first time since BB4, the kitchen is not at the main garden entrance.
- The white door leads to a store.

- The dining area is round for the first time in ages!
- The chairs are designed to be uncomfortable.
- There is minimum room around the white perspex table.
- This area is located in the middle of the main area.

Thanks for commenting Spike! :thumbs2: I don't really like the chairs that much either, but the Phantom chairs didn't look right and I've over used the Phillipe Stark chairs to the max lol. I went with these for the maximum uncomfortable effect.

- This living area is very diffirent to past series. The furniture is much more homely and comfortable.
- The living area is, for the first time ever, right at the door to the garden!

I love the fact that everything is in its own seperate 'building'. It would be really interesting if they did build something like this. For the housemates they would think the house is much much bigger, but then obviously its easier for Big Brother to just shut all access off to places, such as the Gym/Luxury building.

- The pool is massive! This will prove handy for relaxing after a hard day of tasks...

- Plants have been added to give the place a more vibrant, fresh feel.

- The Diary room is designed to be as warm and colourful as possible in hope that hosusemates wil be more honest or let something slip.

Sorry, I attempted 1, but it was to hard, basicly the plans will interloc via the diary room from a small airlock to the right. Sorry if its to vauge a description, I'll try and have another go later.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Some of you may know me from elsewhere - and always loved these sketch-up things here - and massive respect to all of you who do them. I've attempted them myself and just never got the hang of it. 2D floor plans, no problem. 3D sketch-up - I Don't Think So!



Anyway, on to business Conor and love this house. As I said I've been lurking so tend to pop in every few weeks and view loads of houses at once, and to be honest after a while they get a bit repetitive - but this feels fresh and original, and the house looks fantastically different.


The loft house looks good too, but firstly it's a shame it's not in the loft, and secondly, I think that concept has been done to death now, so if it were to be put in the house, I'd like to see it used in a completely different way rather than just a secret house for new housemates.
