Can people here you if you speak underwater?
If your in the water, are you inside or outside?
Bottled water has a sell by date because of chemicals they add in later and its impossible to speak underwater in the first place so theres no need to wonder if people can hear you :laugh2:
I have a few of these but I can't think of them :bawling:

Yeah. I know I can, anyway lol.
And...depends if the body of water is inside [swimming pool] or outside [sea/ocean], I guess.
You can open and move your mouth and make noises (which probably won't be heard by people out of the water and more than a yard away from you) but you can't actually talk properly.

If a tree falls over in a wood and there is nobody to hear it, does it make a sound?

Why do kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
If nothing sticks to Teflon, how do they stick Teflon to the pan?
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected become the expected?

We did this to death when I did Philosophy in college and came to the conclusion that it doesn't. In brief, sound is only defined as sound when the sound waves hit a persons eardrums which then changes into sound. Sound isn't actually sound in the real world outside of our bodies but just a series of vibrations which our ears transform and interpret into sound as we know it. If nobody is around to hear it then the sound waves cannot be transformed into sound therefore a tree doesn't make a sound if it falls and nobody is around to hear it although it makes potential sound and will make sound waves.
I feel all clever now :joker:
