Should the housemates be voted for?

I've heard it suggested a lot on various BB forums that the housemates that enter should be chosen by the public. Do you agree?

I don't think it would work considering how many housemates get put in.

However, perhaps 1 housemate could be public chosen?

No. Otherwise we'd have a set of 13 podgy bin-man's and a boring last BBthis summer. Its got to be random, look how far BB7 went with a range of different housemates. But I would like to see another golden ticket twist again, maybe send a half-way house thing this year based on housemates voted in by the public... But otherwise no... Sorry

No. Part of the surprise of launch night is finding out who goes in. Finding who could possibly be going in spoils it. The producers know the right mix of housemates. Out of 8 main series, they have got the line up spot on in all but 2 or 3.

no cant have p[ublic make biog decisions they ruin it most times. the public should only get a vote between 2 most borin housematres for first couple months of bb otherwise they vote the interestin people/pretty girls oiut

It would work only if the housemates who face that vote stand out from the crowd and are not boring wanabbes.
