View Full Version : Earlier Launch than BB8 PLEASE!!!
I really hope that BB9 launches around the same time that BB7 did, early-mid may!
I think this may be a possibility for 4 reasons!
1. BB8 Launch sucked, maybe producers think it was too late in the summer!
2. FNP launches early this year, BB runs normally at the same time. Not the exact same time, but BB is normally on at some stage while FNP is on
3. Wikipedia state an "early summer launch". Early summer is May, June is mid summer.
4. BB9 USA is 11 weeks long- bringing us up to the last week of April. Perfect timing IMO to launch a new UK series!!!
The only thing thats making me think otherwise is Matts comment a few weeks ago saying that housemates must be 18+ on or after June 1st!

Techincally, the start of summer is the start of June and I don't think the time of year has anything to do with a crap launch night lol
I'd actually prefer a June launch this year :) Up to Aug 30th

Whatever, May or June I'll miss the launch.....again. Sky Plus time.....again. Damn holiday lol. Happened in BB6, BB8 and now BB9. Was on my birthday last year (June 1st) yey lol. Then again for like two/three weeks I'll miss more in August. Allwell, can't be helped, would rather go on holiday obviously.

Good point! But I would like a Mid May launch and then finishes around 5-6th August.So that would be about 11 weeks then.

Last years May 30th launch was a little too late, it should be around the 24th. I'd like them to go back to Thursday launches, I didn't like the Wednesday launch for CBB5 and BB9.

Last years launch was quite late. I always imagine BB as a spring/summer thing so I think a late April/early May launch would be ideal.

I'd like them to bring back Friday launches.
Same for me because generally I go to college the day after then I have to wake up at 5:30 to watch it lol

Yes it did but the last one launching on friday was CBB4 I think, I'm not sure.
CBB4 was a Thursday, the last Friday launch was BB6.

I know it was great having it launch on a Friday because most people didn't have school/work the next day and there was always a big spread on it in the weekend papers. I always used to watch live feed until like 3 in the morning.
CBB4 launched on a Thursday because I remember I was sat in English on the Friday morning bitching about how Michael Barrymore wouldn't move off the red carpet. With a Friday launch you don't really get the opportunity to talk about it like that and thats how Channel 4 see it.

Nope, last year was on Wednesday the 30th May, I can remember Marcus Bentley saying it on the adverts.

Really wow... haha I must have thought it was on the 1st as I remember thinking on the 1st ahh tonight BB is starting lool.

I would like to see it in June, gives them more time to plan it and also means it would be on after doctor who finishes, so something to look forward to.

Yep, and 21st December for Winter.
i think it BB9 live launch should be on Friday the 16th of May

I think it should be the 13th of June. Thats the day after I finish my exams! Won't be able to watch it before that!Boo-hoo.

i really want mid may!
when I was doing the Junior Cert- BB7 was on, i watched it every night after studying!
this year, im doing the Leaving Cert and i'd love if BB9 was on during them so I'd be in a better mood and i'd have something to look forward to!

I think BB9 should start at the start of June
My Exams will be over then and i will be able to watch it without worrying about my exams :D
