Im going to conduct an experiment as to whether or not it is true what they say about only "Women and gay people like Big Brother"

What do you think about this statement?

Here on TIBB, i think has a huge different mix of people - which is a good thing - as it gets more people talking about different things from different veiw points.

So please take time by answering the poll. - Be Truthfull and remember, nobody knows what you put. :D

Nobody ever said ONLY women and gay men like Big Brother. In addition , this forum hardly represents your average Big Brother demograph as a whole , especially considering it contains a cross section of mainly die hard fans. So right off the bat , the experiment is sort of a faliure , rendering it into another sexuality poll. The fourth in about six months id say.

Still , these things always turn out to be fun. Like that one time we had a member who did not believe it was possible to be Bi and Bi's infact , did not exist.

Im just off to get evidence. I read it not too long ago actually, that it said Only Women and Gay people like Big Brother.

Yes, this site represents a wide audience of die hard Big Brother fans, and so, the experiment is taking place in the best place. This experiment is been conducted so that we can see what group is been most observant by watching BB.

Im not arguing, before you accuse me of it. Im debating, and i totally see sense in why IM conducting this experiment whether you see sense or not.

That could be the impression that a large audience of women and gay people watch it, but knowing the people i know they watch big brother and are straight. I think its just a general impression that is given out about the audience that watch big brother.

I always thought that there was no truth in that statement. I mean, if only women and gay men like Big Brother, how come straight men end up on the show?

No its not. You missed my point. This site contains MOSTLY die hard Big Brother fans. And not all of the Big Brother fans are die hard , so from the outset its not a proper , fair demograph of the Big Brother audience = failed experiment. At least failed fair experiment.

And did you honestly believe your 'thing you read before somewhere' that said only women and gay men watch big brother?

Your steretype there is basicly saying if your straight you don't like watching programmes where people are locked in a house under 24hr surveilance while carrying out tasks and knocking each other out 1 by one.

No i didnt beleive it, - thats one of the reasons why i am conducting this experiment, so see if theres any truth in the 'fact'.

I agree to 'some' level, this isnt the greatest place to hold a poll, but, its one of the quickest and easiest ways to get an answer from people who watch BB.

But the truth to the fact is already 'no' , like you knew it was. That was proven the moment one single person voted for heterosexual , rendering your experiment complete I guess.

Im personally am not stereotyping anyone, its something i read, and tommorow im gonna try and find it out - i wanted to find out whether or not the statement was true.

Yeah, the rendering of this experment is already completed to some small degree, showing firstly that straight people do watch BB - but that is not necsesarily the final number, as the poll isnt closed. But, already If you look at the numbers already, it shows that 50% of people online now are gay and second to that is women.

Anyway....im going to bed....carrying on discussing.
