Exclusive: BB9 information!


Our fly on the wall at Endemol has given us some updates on BB9 pre-production happenings, with some interesting tid-bits!

We aren’t allowed to be too specific, so you may have to decrypt some of this as you wish:

Launching in May.
Loose theme of ‘Concealed and Revealed’ (N.B. this is for the house, not the series)
House will feel ’slightly bigger’
BBLB and BBBM are definitely coming back, though only just - both were ‘considered for the chop’ at various points in the last few months.
As tabloids suggest, a female host is being lined up for BBLB. Its format will be tweaked slightly.
Producers are working on BBBM to make sure it works with the guest presenter system as a permanent fixture is not on the cards.
A 10pm timeslot is preferred at Endemol, but Channel 4 are said to be unsure as to whether to fix it at 10pm or to shift it between 8pm, 9pm and 10pm in the weeknight schedule around other shows. Discussions are ongoing.
Sponsorship is actually yet to be finalised.

Inside BB. Not always the most reliable sorce, still sounds quite convincing :)

Like the sound of the house theme. And glad BBBM is back! :dance2:

Sponsors this year are Virgin Media although as state above, still being finalized.:whistle:

I dont care who sponsers the big brother, as long as the show is brilliant which I hope. I think due to Virgin sposership paying so much for advertising, thats why Endemol could afford to give double the prize money. Maybe richard branson coughed up the rest?

Big mouth was a success so it must be there. I would like a funny presenter kind of like paul grady

Actually the Big Mouth's for BB8 and BB:CH were poorly recieved by fans and critics. That doesn't look set to change if rumors of another stint of guest host are true. Too bad you missed Russel Brand presenting, he was ace

Double that. Russell Brand far excedded Davina for me when he did BBBM (BB5 - CBB5)

Watched both Youtube videos and laughed, he was really blue and to be honest I would be afraid of sitting in that audience in case he started ion me

I like the sound of the hosue, Concealed and Revealed - sounds very interesting, glad there is a slightly bigger house - Hope it is very Open plan with lots of concealed places to go away from others....Maybe a love loft, as rumoured....

Could be fun to see the house now and at the begginign of the series..

Love the theme and i hope it is a bigger house.I think BB8 was terrible it was a boring shape nothing really special about it.

it could mean that everything is concealed in one area or there isnt alot of walls that is also what revealed would mean that there isnt nowhere private like you can see everywhere where-ever you are :thumbs:

for example: The kitchen,Bedroom,Living area could all be in one room

I'd persume it means there are lots of secrte area waiting to be discovered, but the areas visible to the eye will be surrounded by glass, mirrors and possibly nothing? :shrug: Sound's like a pretty genuine, foolproof theme.

Sounds horrible to me. I like it when they split into groups and bitch about each other. One lot in the bedroom, one in the kitchen, etc...This sounds too forced to me and artificial.
