* Launching in May.
* Loose theme of ‘Concealed and Revealed’ (N.B. this is for the house, not the series)
* House will feel ’slightly bigger’
* BBLB and BBBM are definitely coming back, though only just - both were ‘considered for the chop’ at various points in the last few months.
* As tabloids suggest, a female host is being lined up for BBLB. Its format will be tweaked slightly.
* Producers are working on BBBM to make sure it works with the guest presenter system as a permanent fixture is not on the cards.
* A 10pm timeslot is preferred at Endemol, but Channel 4 are said to be unsure as to whether to fix it at 10pm or to shift it between 8pm, 9pm and 10pm in the weeknight schedule around other shows. Discussions are ongoing.
* Sponsorship is actually yet to be finalised.

i prefer 10pm..... more excitment. plus during the summer, im always wanting to go out around 9 but stay in too watch BB!! i think 10 is a more suitable time and is still very prime time...

also it might win back a more adult audience to stop BB becoming a kids show!

Agreed. It's been nothing but a kiddy winky show for the past few years......Don't hold your breath as that's the way I think it will continue along with the early evictions of prime housemates and the series dead in the water 6 weeks from the end......

Personally, i'd rather watch Real entertainment, rather than people running around naked(BB5). So, 9pm is good for me.

BB is a reality show and in reality people do adult things....If you censor or are afarid to broadcast adult reality then the show becomes childrens TV.......Best way to kill of BB as format forever.....

I am not talking about live hard core sex. Ofcom don't allow such on UK TV. But if someone shows a bit of flesh censorship is childish and no self respecting adult should be happy about being censored. Simple nudity is not porn. Sex and nudity is.

It's not that simple as according to the Ofcom broadcasting code bad language is theoretcally allowed after 9pm but the broadcasters have to be careful as to the degree and type of bad language that is broadcst. Serious bad language would get CH 4 into trouble if aired before 10pm......

There are idiots in this control freak world who spend their time counting how many times a particular bad word is said and quite happily write to Ofcom if they object to a bad word being said frequently..........


BB as it stands is dumbed down for children to view and CH4 is happy to exploit children paying to vote housemates out......BB is an adult format and they should stop insulting adults by making it like a childrens program......

Ofcom produced a new broadcasting code about three years ago. The consultation of which I participated. When i say they are nutters it's because without any doubt they are. Ofcom is supposed to be independant but in reality they are just another tenticle of the government....The Government pulls the strings and the government cronies at Ofcom jump......

So to be on the safe side CH4 censor....Even after 10pm...

Here is an example of their insanity. There have been some films passed by the BBFC which include hard core scenes. Some of which have been shown on the Sky tv movie channels. However if one of the dedicated soft core adult channels were to show any hard core ofcom would and indeed has fined them many thousands of pounds for showing exactly the same degree of sex as films that have appeared on Sky who never got fined... three years ago a channel was fined £50,000 pound for a hard core sex image that lasted a few seconds.

If you go to the Ofcom site you can read about what they decide and how much they fine when broadcasters go beyond their rules....Not an easy site to navigate though.....
