Sorry but from a legal point, he is still a man.

British Law does not recognise a change of sex.

It was even upheld at the international court of human rights.

I agree with you, she should tell them tomorrow and instead of telling them in a couple of weeks.

That's obviously another reason why there is one shared bedroom. I mean, can you imagine Nadia taking her place in the girls' bedroom and then everyone finding out she used to be a man - there would be uproar about human rights etc.

Marco : "I love Nadia, she makes me laugh. She's really natural, isn't she?"

Ho ho ho. Not really, Marco.... :joker:

---

Can't see her being a transexual as being a big issue. To be frank, she isn't attractive enough that any of the lads are going to have a go with her, given that there are much prettier ladies in the house. I doubt that anyone is going to find out the hard way that she is ... er... a he.... or was. ... whatever.

It would be interesting if you were to read an article about one of the finalists in the 2002 Dutch Big Brother, in which many contestants had sex together on screen, including Kelly van der Veere: Article here (http://www.theangels.co.uk/article.asp?ID=147)

It was inevitable the UK BB would follow along, even though Davina, on the first night of last-year's show, unpleasantly derided the idea (which Ch4 had itself promoted in the series trailers) that UK BB would have a formerly-transsexual contestant. It was a subsidiary of BB's production company, Endemol, that made Sky's recent series featuring the glamorous transvestite Miriam being wooed by a group of guys. They know how to use people.

They might have been waiting for Parliament to clarify things legally, which happened only last week, when the Gender Recognition Bill passed it's final stages. UK law can now recognise a change of sex, for all purposes. That change of law was forced by two European Court of Human Rights judgements finding the UK in breach of it's obligations for not recognising sex reassignment surgery as a change of sex, and not allowing people to marry in their resulting sex. Some people here seem not to have kept abreast of things... :-)

...this should be entertaining.
