It's 3:23pm now (GMT-0)

It would be 2:23 without Daylight Saving's Time.

It confused me this morning. The DVD was changed but not the clock on the wall.

I had to switch onto sky news to find out what time it was

OK the rules are as follows

[list=1]
Clocks change officially on the last Sunday in March and October
On the last Sunday in March clocks go forward one hour and we enter British Summer Time (BST)
On the last Sunday in October the clocks go back one hour and we enter Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
Officially the change takes place at 02:00 So in March we go from 01:59 GMT straight to 03:00 BST, In October we go from 01:59 BST to 01:00 GMT
