The Thing That Has To Happen To Make Big Brother Better

Big Brother needs to do the unexpected so that when the thing that big brother wants to be unexpected is it wont be suspected

for example one week evict the housemate straight after the announcement and then another week evict them half and hour after the announcement and then when there is a double eviction it wont be suspected

One important change I believe they should make is to evict no one for real for at least two weeks. Too often the public do not get a chance to get to know the housemates well enough before having to decide who to evict.

The public have to make snap decisions based on a very short time of assessing a housemate and as such we risk losing good housemates from the start.

Also housemates themselves do not have time to evaluate each other for nominations. There is just no need for quick evictions that may sacrifice a good housemate. Evictions can always be speeded up towards the end of the series.

Something else CH4 need to stop urgently and that is when a double eviction does take place the housemates should not be interviewed together. It is only fair both to the housemate and the public that each housemate gets a fair interview...

Also it is time BB when introducing new housemates that all new housemates selected and shown to the public get into the house proper and none of this sending someone home let dow as that also lets down the public...


Also BB needs to sound proof the diary room properly and make sure the housemates cannot hear what the eviction crowds are chanting on eviction night.

Also BB needs to evict eviction night audience members that boo and jeer while Davina is interviewing....

Lastly both BBLB and BBBM should be made to be free of contestant bias. All housemates popular or not should get a fair crack of the pro publicity whip. As things stand BBLB in particular is used by BB to manipulate audience sentiments for or against some housemates....Let the public decide not the twister fixing manipulaters at the BB studio's

I think they need to adopt the Australian vote to save/vote to evict. I'm a staff member on a VBB and thats the system we use, and it produced quite a shock result so maybe if they tried that evictions would be less predictable and those who slip under the radar might go earlier on instead of finishing up in the final.

Hi. Not sure what you mean!!! Do you mean vote to save "instead of vote to evict"!!!!. I would like them to do one season as an experiment at least on the public voting to save......

The public votes to save and evict on two separate votes :)

So Person X is up against Person Y and Person Z

Person X gets 40% of the Evict Vote
and 20% of the Save Vote
Meaning he has a percentage of -20%.

Person Y gets 30% of the Evict Vote
and 30% of the Save Vote
Meaning she has a percentage of 0%

and Person Z gets 30% of the Evict Vote
and 50% of the Save Vote
Meaning they have a percentage of +20%.

So person X would be evicted.

No, you can vote to save AND vote to evict. Vote to save votes are the positive votes, and vote to evict are negative votes. Both are added together and the one with the lowest overall votes is evicted. This is how it works:

Housemate 1

Save- 1m
Evict- 3m
Difference- -2m

Housemate 2

Save- 5m
Evict- 4m
Difference- +1m

Housemate 3

Save- 3m
Evict- 1m
Difference- +2m

Despite not having the most votes to evict, housemate 1 would be evicted because they have the lowest overall votes when combined. Housemate 3 doesn't have the most votes to save, but still tops the poll. Its quite an interesting system.

I think a whole formt change is needed but the REAL BIG BROTHER on the c4 did say he was takin a lot of the membes redmonds ideads with him to meetings an they have been workingon bb9 since bb8 became a flop
