Ok so heres this years Episode Guide so far. I wish they would hurry up an tell us all of them!!
4.1 `Partners in Crime`
- Donna Noble is determined to find the Doctor again – even if it means braving the villainous Miss Foster and her hordes of sinister Adipose. But when the alien threat escalates out of control, can Donna find her Time Lord before the march of the Adipose begins?
4.2 `The Fires of Pompeii`
-The Doctor and Donna travel back into ancient history. When they arrive in 79AD, however, they discover psychic powers and beasts of stone running riot in the streets of old Pompeii. The time-travellers face their greatest challenge yet – can established history be changed, or must the Doctor let everyone die?
4.3 `Planet of the Ood`
- The Doctor takes Donna to the Ood Sphere (Sorry its a bit bland, but theres no information on the episodes.)
4.3 `The Sontaran Stratagem
- First of two episodes. Martha `accidently` bumps into the Doctor as an old enemy invades Earth.
4.3 `The Poison Sky`
Second of two Episodes. UNIT are involved somewhere, Martha gets `cloned` <- Unconfirmed
4.4 `TBA`.
From what we know about this episode, is that Stephen Greenhorn, who has written this episode says that his episode was designed by Russell to "change the Doctor" in a big episode that will have "a real impact on him" and that in terms of the series continuity the episode will have a "lasting impact".
4.5 `The Unicorn and the Wasp (TUATW)`
This episode will feature giant wasps called Vespiform or something. Agatha Christie.
4.6 `Silence in the Library`
Set in the 51st century, an abandoned library which holds the secrets and stories of everyone. Two Part story
4.7 `Rivers Run`
Alex Kingston will appear in the two-parter as astronaut-cum-archaeologist called Professor River Song – a mysterious character who meets The Doctor in the Library.
4.8 `Midnight`
The Doctor and Donna arrive on an alien leisure planet ("an intergalactic spa"). Lesley Sharp plays a woman on holiday there. The Doctor and Donna end up stranded there with an alien threat all around. Lesley is described as "brilliant" and "terrifying" by Phil Collinson.
4.9 (DoctorLite Episode)
From what we gather from set pictures and videos is that the last three episodes of the series is set on a apocalyptic world where refugees are sent to Leeds for safety. Rose will appear for the first time since Doomsday accompanied by Wilf, who is Donnas Grandfather. The information for this episode and indeed the two part finale are murky an inconclusive. We gather again from se pictures that the Daleks have successfully invaded Earth and are rounding up humans forthe Dalek cause. The words `Maximum Extermination` are said to be used somewhere. Captain Jack, Sarah Jane Smith, Mickey, Jackie Martha are said to among those who comes to the Doctors rescue with of course Rose in there too. Threres been no word yet whether Davros is going to show his ugly face, although he is rumoured to be appearing, being playedby Julian Bleach, who played the sinister circus top hat freak in the Torchwood episode` Out of the Rain`.

Those adipose are adorable!!!
Who cares to bet that they'll make a kirby-like toy out of them?
Catherine Tate was brilliant, I think she could possibly be the best assistant yet but we'll have to wait and see.
The Rose Cameo shocked me, i knew she was returning but I didn't expect to see her 'till the end of the series. I wonder if she'll play a recurring role this series? I hope she does!

I majorly dislike Martha in Doctor Who.
She seemed too.. 'perfect'?
She was better in Torchwood so I'm not too looking forward to her.
Can't wait for more Rose.

And a great start to the series. I usually watch it at a distance, but the first episode was very entertaining. I also usually hate Catherine Tate, but I like her now. (Then again, she isn't doing the same annoying catchphrases all the time.)

Rose wasn't seen but she was mentioned by the girl who had been promised by those weird people she had a gift. It was when she looked really ill and she was saying where donna was from and all that. And at one point she said "She is coming." I think that might be a reference to Rose. Anyone else agree?

Other Rumours
Davros returns.
Donna will be shot dead at the end of the series.
Martha will leave with Captain Jack Harkness at the end of the series to join Torchwood.
Harriet Jones is forced to become a Dalek by Davros.
The Doctor will have been captured and transported to the Cruciform to help the Daleks win the Time War.
In Planet of the Ood when Ood Sigma said "your song will end soon" possibly suggests the loss of something important to him, such as a companion, or the TARDIS in this episode.
The Doctor gets exterminated but does not die or regenerate. This is possible as photos have shown David Tennant in filming the next Christmas Special.
Other characters rumoured to make an appearance are Francine, Tish, Leo, Clive, Pete and Jake.
One rumour is that Geoff Noble will make a cameo appearance, in a scene filmed by Howard Attfield for Partners in Crime before he passed away. Russell T. Davies has edited the scene to make it look like Geoff is talking to Donna from beyond the grave.
xDramatick
25-04-2008, 06:15 PM
I doubt that rumour bout Donna is true.
Apparently, the Christmas special is based around The Doctor with Donna and Rose as companions.
Which would prove the Martha+Torchwood rumour correct.

Donna wont be shot at the end of the series. But something happens to her because I dont think she remembers the Doctor. Scenes were filmed outside her grandads house with the Doctor saying,` She cant know, you understand me, she musnt remember`.
Also a RED Dalek appears in the last episode, rumoured to be Harriet Jones, and Davros also, although the only signs of him returning is the RC Davros the Doctor Who Toy Makers are making

I think they have several ongoing things this series. The appearances of rose (she appeared when donna looked at the monitor in the tardis when the doctor contacted the sontaran ship) and the thing about the bees dissapearing.
I thought martha was very good last night, and the scene between her and the clone was very well acted as you actually felt a bit of sympathy towards the clone when it was dying as it was personalised and given human aspects, IMO.
Ive never really liked martha but feel that the character has vastly improved since her last series and am looking forward to next weeks episode.

This was posted over at DS. It does seem to fit with the pictures of filming and such. I really hope its not true:sad:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Former PM Harriet Jones, is consumed with rage that the Doctor was responsible for her getting deposed, when she blew the Sycorax from the sky.
Her rage is only fueled, when she learns that the Doctor took no such action against Harold Saxon, who, exactly one year later; gave the order to blow the Racnos from the sky.
Her own investigations unerath the true nature of Harold Saxon, (ie: that he is the Time Lord known as 'The Master') and beleives that the Doctor, allowed him to destroy the Racnos unpunished, was some sort of special TimeLord dispensation.
Having stowed-away on the Valiant, (during the events of 'Last Of The Time Lords'), she has witnessed the entire 'year that never was', and now knows the power that the TimeLords posesses. She lusts for this power, for herself.
She also witnesses the Master reminissing with the Doctor, about the time the Doctor 'Sealed the Medussa Cascade', before the Master finally dies.
She steals the Masters ring from his funeral pire, and is soon overwhelmed by the sound of drums herself. But unlike the derranged Master; Harriet Jones knows immediately what the sound represents - and from where it originates.
An army of unimaginable size exists, beating down the walls between realities, tearing open the fabric of the universe in an attempting to escape thier prison, buried as they have been beneath the Medusa Cascade, imprisoned since the closing moments of the time war; sealed outside of time and space, as even the time lords were aware of it.
They have had countless eons to act, to swell thier numbers into a vast unstoppable force, lead, by Davros - who is using the ring, and Harriet as his weapon outside of the cascade to actualise thier escape.
In Roses' alternate reality, the universe is splintering at a much faster rate. As the head of Torchwood London, she is well aware of exactly what is happening - but has no idea how to stop it. So she, along with her family, friends and a new boyfreind, set about desperately trying to reach the Doctor, through the fractures opening between in realities.
The Doctor & Donna, in the meanwhile have visited a Library, millions of years in the future which documents the events of all past generations lives. Though the Doctor warns her against it, curiosity gets the better of her, and she reads her own life story - which according to the volume, ends when she is / was killed by the Racnos.
She doesn't know what to make of it, as obviously, she didn't die. She went to Egypt and later hooked up with the Doctor. She waits her moment, and then goes to ask the Doctor what it means - just as he completely vanishes in front of her eyes, tron from Reality.
Donna is left utterly alone onboard the Tardis, as it hurtles out-of-control through time and space. She is petrified and doesn't know what to do.
When suddenly, an (un)familiar face appears on screen.
It's Rose. She has finally managed to get a signal through a fracture in reality, but she's too late, as it is after the Doctor has completely vanished.
Donna & Rose stuggle desperately to use the Tardis, to draw the Doctor back on board, using Roses' knowledge from having 'been' the embodiment of the Tardis, and Donna's sketchy 'driving lessons'. Throughout, they are thwarted in thier attempts by different realities colliding and splintering around them. We see a variety of realities play out, including what would have happened to them both, had neither met the Doctor.
Eventually, they manage to get the Doctor back to the Tardis. He had been sucked beneath the Medusa Cascade, by Davros and his new allie, Harriet Jones, who has orchestrated he and his Armys' (the Children Of Time) escape. She has taken her place at Davros' side, partially converted into a Red Dalek, so that they can rule over all realities and create an evil empire, everlasting.
At this point, realities are becoming indistinguishable. Thwarted enemies of old, who have conquored and won in alternate realities, are back in our reality. So too are the Tylers & Mickey.
At this point, Captain Jack & Sarah-Jane turn up, desperate to stop the hell on Earth that is being unleashed.
But Harriet & Davros have one more Ace up thier sleeve. Donna - who has rushed to save Wilf and Sylvia.
Both however are dead at the hands (?) of Daleks when she arrives at her house.
In flashback, we see that During her entrapment by the Racnos, Donna was bitten by a Metebelis spider, which fuses itself to its' Victims spines and becomes invisible, controling the actions of those it posesses. With no Empress to give it's life direction, the spider has simply lain inactive, until the moment an Alternative worlds' Racnos Empress emerged into this reality.
The Racnos Empress is quickly swayed to join forces with Davros & Harriet, in order to double-cross the Doctor from the inside - and rule alongside them.
The Doctor knows that the only means of defeating the fate that awaits them; every universe colliding, and finally imploding, killing everyone from every reality - means reaching the Medusa Cascade.
When the others press him as to what they must do once they reach it, he is evasive - simply insisting that the important thing is that they get there.
Donna, under Racnos control double crosses them at every given opportunity; which the Doctor soon suspects. He manages to partially injur the spider, but knows that to kill it would mean killing Donna too. And this, he wont do. He feels enormous guilt for ruining her life as well, and promises her that he will get her through this one way or other.
Upon reaching the Cascade, the gang are eager to close the rift; but the Doctor suddenly falters.
He breaks down. The only way to do this is by offering it a Human Life. Something which the Doctor hesitantly, and ashamedly admits, he has had to do once before, in order to end the time war.
He confesses that he and Dr. Grace Holloway (his compannion before Rose) threw themselves into the Medussa Cascade. It was meant to kill them both, only the Cascade spat him out. Badly injured, his body regenerated, and he awoke, alone, drifting through space. (We see both Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston in flashback.)
It took him almost 9 years to find his way back to the Tardis, in which time, he had found the strength to go on.
He looks to everyone who's lives he has touched, and destroyed around him - each of them with so much to live for - yet each of them offering thier own life, in order to seal the rift.
They begin fighting to be the one to do it.Jackie & Sarah Jane stating thier age as the reason. Jack his inability to die otherwise. Finally, one voice rings out over all the others.
Naturally, it's Donnas'. She explains that she doesn't feel she has anything to live for. She's badly injured and doesn't want to spend the next 60 years with half a dead spider hanging off her back. That's she's not a 'hero' like everyone else. She's just an office worker from Chiswick that wanted to travel. She doesn't head an important oranisation that keeps people safe. She doesn't know anything about aliens or time travel or anything important. She now also has no family to return to. The Doctor knows where she's going with this, and tries to object - but she quickly shuts him up, as only Donna can. She thanks the Doctor for giving her the chance to see that world. The Universe. All universes. To experience those things. To do this one thing, in her whole life, that is truely, truely important.
She kisses him tenderly on his tear stained cheek, giving him one last affectionate insult before smiling gently, and then slowly falls backward into the Cascade, sealing it with her death.
All realities are immediately restored to the exact point that Donna was meant to have died at the hand of the Racnos Empress.
Captain Jack & Sarah Jane return to thier lives, and Rose and the Tylers are forever sealed in the alternate universe.
The Doctor is plagued by guilt at the sacrifice that Donna has made for him. He vows that he will make it up to Donna, as she embodied everything he fought for in ever defending the human race. How someone, who thought themselves so very ordinary, could commit an act of such extraordinary selflessness and bravery.
So for Donna, and Donna alone, he will break one of the fundmental rules of the time lords.
He goes back in time, just 24 hours further back and plucks Donna from her time stream, He destroys the Racnos Empress ship in Space and gets Jack to retcon Donna, leaving her with no recollection of what happened, and thus will never try to find him, to, in essence, repeat events.
She'll simply live out her life as she'd always intended, traveling the world and living out the great suburban dream.
The Doctor lands in Donna's street. Wilf, who is sick at home; unable to attend her wedding, see the Tardis land and rushes outside, to find Donna being lead, groggy from Retcon back to the House. He immediately realises the Doctor is an alien, and asks to know what happened.
'Don't worry Wilf', the Doctor says quietly 'She'll never remember a thing.'
He allows Wilf to guide Donna back into the House alone, and returns to the Tardis.
He looks sadly upon Donnas house, and watches for a moment through the window, as Wilf fusses over her and makes her a cup of tea.
He closes the Tardis Door, and it evetually fades from view.

Tune into BBC1 on Saturday, before the Eurovision. A new trailer is airing at 8pm!
Spike
20-05-2008, 08:22 PM
Russell T. Davies, who was behind BBC One's revival of Doctor Who, is stepping down from his role as the show's lead writer and executive producer.
Davies has been credited with the huge success of the series since it was brought back in 2005.
Acclaimed writer and producer Steven Moffat will take over for the next Who series, which will air in 2010.
Davies said: "It's been a delight and an honour working with Steven, and I can't wait to see where his extraordinary imagination takes The Doctor. Best of all, I get to be a viewer again, watching on a Saturday night!"
Moffat has written several Who episodes including 'Blink', for which he won the Writer Award at this year's BAFTAs, series two's 'The Girl In The Fireplace' and, from the current run, 'Silence in the Library'.
"My entire career has been a secret plan to get this job," he said. "I applied before but I got knocked back 'cos the BBC wanted someone else. Also I was seven.
"Anyway, I'm glad the BBC has finally seen the light, and it's a huge honour to be following Russell into the best - and the toughest - job in television. I say toughest 'cos Russell's at my window right now, pointing and laughing."
Moffat's recent work includes BBC sitcom Coupling and drama Jekyll. He has also written the screenplay for the first in a series of new Tintin movies, to be directed by Steven Spielberg.
The BBC said Moffat and Piers Wenger, who is also joining Who as an executive producer, were already planning the fifth series. There will be no series in 2009, as previously announced.
BBC fiction controller Jane Tranter paid tribute to Davies's work: "Scripts and writers are at the heart of what BBC drama is all about, and especially at the heart of Doctor Who. The past four series have been brilliantly helmed by the spectacularly talented Russell T. Davies."
I want Russell to stay on the success of the revival of Doctor Who is down the him but maybe this change is good Steven Moffat has written some of my favourite episodes. It says the next series will be in 2010, is there not going to be a series next year?

Ok so the lowdown on the latest episode. Its basically a sci fi twist on the Butterfly Effect. We see what would of happened if Donna had never met the Doctor.
I'll post what I know or what could happen in spoilers for those who dont want to know:thumbs:
The Doctor dies when he destorys the Racnoss on Christmas Eve, because Donna isnt there to get him out.
Martha dies on the Moon when the Judoon interigate the hospital.
The Titanic crash lands on the Buckingham Palace and wipes out the entire South of England, forcing Donna and her family to evacuate to Leeds.
The universe is disintergrating rapidly, Wilf nothices in the sky that the stars are 'going out'
Donna has a Time Beetle on her back, not quite sure what it means.
Rose enters our world at the end of the episode just as the Daleks invade Earth.
RTD has said that the end of this episode will top the last of Utopia in excitement value.
Davros IS back. It has been officially confirmed via a synopsis of 'Journeys End'.
Also the Red Dalek is a new Supreme Dalek.
The Synopsis for the last two episodes-
Episode 12- The Stolen Earth
Donna Noble, Martha Jones and Rose Tyler must work together at a time of great urgency as Earth is threatened by the new Dalek Empire. The Doctor and Donna must confront the Shadow Proclamation to find the truth, whilst a fearsome old enemy waits in the shadows...
Episode 13- Journeys End
The entire universe is in danger as the Daleks activate their masterplan, in the concluding episode of Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama. The Doctor is helpless, and even the Tardis faces destruction. The only hope lies with the Doctor's secret army of companions – but as they join forces to battle Davros himself, the prophecy declares that one of them will die.
David Tennant plays the Doctor and Catherine Tate plays his companion, Donna Noble.
I cannot wait til the finale!

Even tho quite a few are saying the next couple of eps are over the top with the amount of people in them however, i think the complete opposite.
I think it is totally realistic that they would all come together as on all the spin offs etc, they are investigating similar occurences/issues. I find it quite unrealistic that they havent had a few cross overs before in relation to stories.
Bring on next week!! (also, didn't realise the whole of torchwood was going to be in it, I just presumed Jack.

I think we might, Don't quote me on this but i think I remember sseeing an interview with RTD in which he said the new members would be a pleasant surprise for viewers so I reckon they'll be characters that we've already seen or who are introduced in the next two episodes.
I wonder how big the roles of Sarah Jane and Luke are? It'll be interesting to see what the doctor makes of Luke.

I hope the four specials next year will be good, from what i've heard three of them are gonna be connected.
I'm looking foward to the mini series of Torchwood because I really wanna see who the new people are, hopefully we'll find out in the finale of Dr Who.
From the looks of things it looks like there will only be a full series of Sarah Jane Adventures next year.
Still, with Stephen Moffatt running Dr Who from season 5 it'll be worth the wait I think.

So how are they going to stop him from changing?

I bet we will! As a time lord can only regenerate 13 times, and this is doctor 10 isn't it?

I didn't realise they could only regenerate 13 times
Remember they are out of normal space and time which is a second out, so that could have a big affect of events next week.

I think the chip which was said not to be used will play a big part next week.
Another interesting thing is we could hear Donna's heart, could this signal 2 hearts and prove the rumours right that she is a timelord.

They can show the other characters in action. Just not the Doctor

RTD has said on the FAQ section on the official website, that knowonw knows how many times he can regenerate, coz Gallifrey is gone.
Tonights episode was fantastic, easily shaping up to be the best finale ever. I nearly cried when Donna said 'Why dont you ask her yourself', and Roses music started.
I also nearly cried when all the companions were on the screen, and Rose couldnt get through:bawling:
There not giving anything away for next weeks show, at all. No Next Time, theres also no Faer Forecast on the website til after the episode airs.

Tonight's was good but alas as is the problem with most two parters is that it couldn't live up to the hype. I still thought it was great though, very emotional.
I think it can be said that Mickey and Martha are the new members of Torchwood.

I think ive had enough of the Daleks for the time being. If they were to leave them a couple of years, when they did decide to bring them back it would be great. Steven Moffat needs to bring a new edge to Doctor Who, something we havent seen before, like a lot more original aliens and monsters, and maybe something that will be as big as the Daleks and Cybermen.
ANother note. You just know the Daleks WILL be back, if the Cybermen managed to escape the Void, as the walls of the universe were being destroyed, who says the Daleks didnt get out too?

THIS is the first glimpse of a new menace Time Lord David Tennant will face on a Christmas day Doctor Who special.
The scary new baddie is a mutant Cyberman known as a Cybershade.
Scary stuff ... new villain
Scary stuff ... new villain
The evil creation has been described as a "Cyberman gone bad".
An insider said: "The Cybershade is a mutant with some of the looks of the Cybermen - but it is a much darker creation.
"Fans always want something new. Just wheeling out Cybermen again would be tame."

TORCHWOOD will air on five consecutive nights when it comes to BBC1.
The Doctor Who spin-off started on BBC Three and was later moved to BBC2, where it pulled in 3.3 million viewers an episode.
Its popular following has convinced bosses at the Beeb to give the third series of sci-fi drama a prime-time BBC1 slot.
And the five-part series will be aired on consecutive nights next Spring in a week-long Torchwood special to introduce it to new audiences.
John Barrowman, who stars as Captain Jack Harkness in the show, said he was “ecstatic” with Torchwood’s new slot.
The actor said: “Torchwood has really reached out to audiences worldwide and the fact it’s moved up the channels on the BBC is incredible.”

ACTING legend Patrick Stewart is to make a giant leap across space — from Star Trek to Doctor Who.
He has agreed to a major role in the Time Lord’s next series after teaming up with the Doctor (David Tennant) on stage.
The pair starred in a production of Hamlet in the summer. Patrick — Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek — has been offered a role in a two-parter involving the Daleks, set to be screened next year.
The new series will also see the return of classic alien enemies the Ice Warriors and the Zygons. Patrick, 68, is a big Doctor Who admirer and has spoken in the past of his desire to star in the show.
He said: “I have been a fan, actually yes, and I’m deeply dismayed that I was never asked to be in it. I think it’s a terrific series.” A source said: “Patrick and David are firm friends now, and want to work together again. They’ve got chemistry and that’s what Doctor Who is all about.
“Patrick’s role is still being finalised but the plan is for him to play a renegade Time Lord called the Meddling Monk, who was last seen in Doctor Who in the 1960s. The Doctor thought his entire race was wiped out and gets a huge surprise to find another member of his species.”
The Monk was originally played by Carry On film favourite Peter Butterworth. Our insider added: “Patrick’s agent is now involved and everyone is really keen. His role is a belter.”
