Have you tried double clicking the bar in Google/Ask/Yahoo? If he hasn't deleted that too it should show what he's been searching.

no he deletes the history by doing: tools > Delete browsing history > Delete All
Which deletes everything
Heres an idea : Just leave him have his privacy?

Must be quiet the 10 year old to go deleting internet history. Fair play to him! How about...not letting him on the internet? Get somebody to take responsibility instead of leaving it to mother web?
History can never be deleted because police need access to it in Child Abuse cases ect. You can acces the index.dat file and then see everything that has ever been viewed but this will be long and complicated!
If I were you just don't invade his privacy. :)

I just said to him "will you stop deleting my history on my computer or i will stop you from using it"
he just went really read and ran upstairs
Porn cant...shall we say...'do' anything for him at this stage anyway. Its probably harmless curiosity. The first thing a child is going to do when he gets the internet anyway is do a google image search on tits. Or something else if you were a bit different like me. All part of growing up in the digital age!

These instructions might help. Won't work on XP Home though, only Pro and Vista, I think...

Also setup a guest user account, don't let him use an admin account otherwise you might get things installed on your computer.
