It seems James has been the Jen of 2008. You either love him or hate him. And the housemates have found it hard to evict him.
But whereas, I could see why some people hated Jen, I cannot see where all this James hate is coming from.
Anyone help me out here?

Since what he has done to Matt and Natalie basically, well the way he has.
That guy is arrogant and big headed. If at least he brought entertainment, but he doesn't so it makes things worse.

Yes, her broke his word to Nat about nominating Matt - but Matt broke his word multiple times! It was a good move on his part, he needed to get Matt out.
I dont think he is being arrogant. Having the whole house turn against him, he only has himself to back him up and is forced to defend himself. He is a lone player in the game at the moment, and has coped soo well since Chelsia was evicted.
I think in this game, give credit where credit is due. He has played this game brilliantly!

i have no idea why he is disliked so much! the other housemates are just jealous of him and how strong he is!:cloud:
If people are angry:cloud: by the way he said he wouldn't put matt on the block then he did after the pov they need to get over it:spin: the idea of the game is to get rid of the other housemates and the HOH can get rid of whoever they want!
deals are made and broken in this game and the housemates know this more than anybody!

I don't watch it but Perez Hilton said that James has done gay porn?
So hate could have come from there?

' and has coped soo well since Chelsia was evicted.'
I don't think crying in front of everyone saying 'I'm so alone on my little island' is somehow coping very well.
For me, Chelsia and him were an interesting couple when they won their HOH because they were smart and good competitors.
I give credit to James only and only for winning all these competitions when he needed to. But in terms of game-playing, the only thing he has done was to save himself from the block by winning the Vetos. I don't call that, a smart move or a great game-player.

Try being alone in a house full of people who want you out! He is allowed to cry, but he has come out of it stronger. He played the POV last week perfectly and made it a lot more then the guessing game it was originally.
Winning the games IS playing the game - thats why they are thier. Despite being alone he continies to fight for his survival and make deals with others (Adam/Nat).

Of course he is allowed to cry, everybody is. But I found it ridiculous the way he tried to stay, that's not game-playing. And same for Joshuah, that is lame (at least Joshuah didn't mean his words, contrary to James).
Winning the games is a part of playing the game but it's not all. James doesn't do anything except moaning about how alone he is in this house. But if he was smarter before, he would not have been hated. Too late now, he evicted a houseguest who was liked by most of the others.

Matt wasnt liked by most of the others, 4 of them wanted him out.
James is hated because he is a threat, and a good game-player. The housemates see it but I dont see how the public do not.

But you forgot that Natalie convinced her fellow houseguests that it was a bad move, and it does explain what is going on now.
The only thing the houseguests see in him is not a threat but a loser.

They have ALL admitted that he is a brilliant game player - hence why they have nominated him for three weeks in a row.
It was their stupid game playing that resulted in his return.

He was a good player before he was 'fake evicted' but the houseguests have realized they made a mistake by voting him to go back therefore they try to get rid of him. James is lost since he's back in the game, even Chelsia admitted she made a mistake by voting him back.

chelsia only said that because it had messed up her game! he's not a loser he's a good game player who doesn't deserve all the grief he is getting from the other housemates!

Voting James back was a bad mistake for all of them, why? because they have realised that he is a smart, determined game player and they have ALL admitted this at one stage or another. They want him out because they are scared of him - simple as.

But she still said it, she admitted it was a mistake and most of the other houseguests regret that too.
Since his re-entry in the game, he's a loser and couldn't take any big decisions or the leadership except his 'sweet revenge'

Of course they admitted that, I even admit he was kinda a good player before he was evicted. The houseguests are not scared of him any more since his 'sweet revenge' was over. They are just pi$$ed he's still there.

I don't think that it would have mattered that he broke his word....IF he hadn't made such a huge deal about Matt breaking HIS word. He got up on his high-horse and made this huge grand speech about how in this game your word is so important...that his word was good and he was going to prove it....then he turned around and did what he did.
If he hadn't made all the speeches he wouldn't have came off as such a hypocrite. IMO
And if he had played the game so brilliantly, he wouldn't have such a huge target on his back.
Plus he has said and done some pretty vile things...
The reason I don't particularly like him is that he is getting help from Big Brother. (via Diary Room)
They called Natalie to DR just so James could make his plea to Adam before Noms....then they called Adam into DR before he had to make noms and wouldn't let him out to talk to anyone.
3 Veto's in a row is umm...yeah, not skill.
And that whole evict him and then bring him back was BS. Why would they have America vote for someone to bring back, then let the person who JUST got kicked out go back in. If they had of told the HG's that Alex was the 'mystery houseguest' then James would have never come back. That was a last minute twist to save James' rear. They knew most of the HG's would be worried it was Allison or Amanda and wouldn't vote them in over James. I didn't like Alex at all, but that wasn't fair to him at all.
