In my offering Tales From and around The Mystical Realms - Rebecca's Journey (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=80109) I have a plot device where someone is arrested because someone else steals their identity to commit fraud.

Well today I saw this on the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6902922.stm)

Earlier this month, BBC Sport's Kofi Sekyere flew to Slovenia on holiday - only to land up in prison. Someone using his stolen passport was wanted for fraud, and his name was on an international arrest warrant.

Yikes!!!!

Is anyone worried they could end up being extradited on fast track because of ID theft?

Bump - There was a case where the CRB has asked a lady to report to the police to be fingerprinted to prove that she was an innocent party

That would be terrible.
But this should be in General Chat, and it not Fan Fiction, just slightly linked.

Returning to Tales from and around the Mystical Realms One - Rebecca's Journey (http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=80109), there is a reference to how there is inadequate provision for runaway children.

Recently I saw adverts on phone boxes for this charity (http://www.missingpeople.org.uk/runaways/)

Doing a time line by dead reckoning, Season six and Tales one run concurrently probably early in 2009, when these adverts may be more widley visible.

Not sure is this is a life imitating art, but did find it kind of interesting since I used tales one to highlight a social concern.
