heatworld loves getting invited to parties, but now that this has landed in our lucky, lucky inbox, tonight we suddenly seem to be washing our hair. Saskia Thingy-Thing from Big Brother 6, is having a “VIP” birthday party at a venue she describes as “an exclusive North London club” but, while we can’t reveal the name of the venue in question, for fear that Saskia’s three remaining fans might gatecrash, we know from experience that the place in question is your standard suburban bar, and definitely more beer-and-a-burger than champagne and canapés. Nothing wrong with that, but most of us would hastily assemble a Facebook Event page for such an occasion, not squander our last few pennies on hiring an events company, arranging a “glamorous” photoshoot, and sending the results to random journalist types who she’s never met. But then, Saskia is charging £15 to get in, so we guess she’ll make back at least, ooh, £30. Er, happy birthday, love!
