Gordon Brown and Heather Mills voted among Britain's least talentedGordon Brown is one of the least talented people in Britain, along with Heather Mills and Kerry Katona, according to a new poll.
The Prime Minister is the only politician among the 10 names on the "Britain's Least Talented" list, which is otherwise composed of C-list celebrities, footballers' wives and reality television contestants.
Chanelle Hayes, the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, came out top of the poll, with Miss Mills and Victoria Beckham completing the top three.
Both have suffered in the public eye by being seen as feeding off the success of more talented and popular husbands.
Also on the list are Katona (5), the former Atomic Kitten singer who was recently admitted to the Priory, jailed rocker Pete Doherty (7) and Wayne Rooney's girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin (8).
Mr Brown, who has been criticised for his lacklustre handling of the growing financial crisis, and was largely ignored by the US media on his visit to the country this week, came 10th in the survey of 1,000 people. The research also revealed that 80 per cent of Britons claim not to buy newspapers or magazines with talentless celebrities on the front cover. The same number turn off their televisions when a so-called "zelebrity" appears on screen.
Britons consider Harry Potter author JK Rowling to be the most talented person in the country, ahead of Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton and chef Gordon Ramsay, the poll shows.
David Beckham and Rooney, whose partners both make it into the "least talented" list, are also considered to be in our top 10 homegrown talents.
