Public/Private schools don't have the strike so that applies to me, I got study leave soon so thats alright i suppose.

Yep, i'll be off school on Thursday due to the teacher's strike. I've heard the other union may be striking at some point too, but it's only the NUT at the moment who are actually striking.

Its not about where you are its about the teachers union which your teachers belong to I think. Some teachers in your school will be different to others. So you may be at school even though Darren aint.

I hate it so much!! I'm deffo leaving after my GCSE's. Don't have a clue what job I want though :conf2: lol

I hate english too. My teacher makes me read/act everything in class, he always picks me. and he split me and my friends up for the whole year because he said he was "fed up" of the constant talking, grrr he's real annoying. he always gives us these mega long key assessments and homework too! i'm sure he's got it in for me and my class.

In my school I have to go in though, like all of my year, with the teachers that arent taking part! :bawling:
