How do you change a file? Help Please x

Hi
Ive just tried to download something off the internet (a Skins episode) so that i could use it on Windows Movie Maker and it downloaded succesfully but when it finished downloading it opened with Windows Media Player and i couldnt see the clip i could only hear it. It always does this ive tried dozens of times and ive looked everywhere on how i could change it but nothing seems to work.

Its ment to be a Video Clip but once its on the Media Player thing it turns into an Audio Clip. So i can only hear it. Ive tried going to properties etc...

Anyone know what to do? Ive also tried converting clips off youtube but none of those work either? x

Sounds like you need the DivX codec - downloading it fixed the problem for me.
