The tabloid newspapers have claimed that Big Brother 9 will launch on Channel 4 on Thursday 5th June 2008. They report that fans were expecting the show to launch in May, however Channel 4 have delayed the launch to avoid clashing with the big finale week of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Although this should be taken with a pinch of salt, it does give the show a clear summer run. The brand spanking new 13-week series once again fronted by Davina McCall would end on Friday 5th September if the launch date is in fact true.
