Well I havnt been on for a while and the reason is because I was stung by a bee earlier.
Well, I killed the bee with my slipper, than I got a tissue ready to pick it up and as I did, a really painful sting went into my thumb and the pain was killing me. This happened at about 6 and my thumb still hurts now. I dont think I took the stinmg out because its impossible too, and it still stings a bit.
What do I do to make the pain go away?

You have to take the stinger out.

You should get the stinger out as soon as possible. But since it's been 6 hours now, then I don't know if it will matter. I hear a cold compress on it helps the pain.

Try putting your finger in a bowl of salt water. That should ease the pain, clean out your finger and loosen/release the stinger.
It might hurt worse for a sec though! :conf2:

Its too late for taking the stinger out now. it wont do any harm will it?

No. The only reason I said about the stinger is because the quicker you remove it the less venom goes in, thus making the sting less painful. But since it's now 6 hours later, then it shouldn't matter.
I wouldn't put salt near it. Cold water, or ice is your best option in my opinion.

That's what I was wondering xD
We were told
in science
that if you get stung by a bee
you should flick the stinger out from underneath
because you try to pull it out
you'll squeeze the venom into yourself lmfao.
I've never been stung but I HATE bees+wasps.
&awww DT, that's horrible! =[

I hate bees and wasps.
A wasp was flying around me yesterday and it made me fall off my chair.
I am scared of them I wish they all died.
I have only been stung twice before though both times in my arm.

i dont see the big hatred of Bees ad wasps if you leave them alone they leave you alone
i would try and remove the stinger .. not that it will do much its just why would you want a stinger in you and go for colder water or seek medical attention to see what is going on

hope your finger feels sting free very soon! :flowers:
I'm a bit late but you're supposed to put vinegar on the sting asap.

Ohh I did that. I put vinegar within 20 minutes.

That's actually a common misconception. Vinegar is pretty useless because the sting and the venom are under the skin so putting vinegar onto the affected area won't help.
The vinegar would possibly neutralise the sting if it were inside, but short of actually injecting the vinegar into the same part you got stung, it's not going to do any good.
