the US version of Spirit featured a few songs the international one didnt have.one of them is callerd Forgive Me and is produced by Akon(you can hear the knonvicted at the start).its the next single and shes filming the video next week in LA once she returns from Japan & Hong Kong.what do you think of the song?

I like a bit more now. It kind of reminds me of 'The Sweet Escape' by Gwen Stefani. I don't like the backing singers they get so annoying.

nahh Homless & HIA are very average songs definetly not single worthy but i agree about TAB & IWB.

YES, it's my favorite Leona song. I love it, and I predicted it to be her next song. :cheer2:
most people will hate it at first but after a few listens its great.because its Leona and because its not on the album it will most lightly debut at #1

Just because people dont regard it as her first single, doesn't mean it isn't :tongue:. Forgive Me will still be released as her fourth single.
I can see the sense of releasing it in the UK though. As it isnt one thats on the album, maybe they think more people will buy it. Its really growing on me :D

I absolutely hate it, It's a crappy song that is meant to tailor to a shallow R'n'B american audience and it shows. It's just awful.
I love it, i'm happy she's releasing something upbeat. I think it will do really well because it isn't available over here, so more people will download it.

I've changed my opinion on this song now, I kinda like it but I wouldn't want her to release anything like this again. She's much better off sticking to her other type of music.
I can't see it doing as well as some of her other singles though.
I actually hate it now. When is it released?

I read on the music blog of Digital Spy that her next single will be a completely new song , released much later in the year.

Everyone at the official Leona forum seems to think itll be Take a Bow. And I love that song.
Personally, I'll think she'll release Forgive Me in late summer, then release a deluxe version of her album, and then maybe go back to Take a Bow or possibly I Will Be. Should be interesting.

i doubt it.shes doing TV shows & music festivels in Germany this week and then Spain,France & Italy after that to promote Better In Time and then shes returning to promo in the UK in end June/begining of July which will probably be for FM

I hope she releases this here! I think of the reasons BIT didn't do as well as BL was because everyone already had the album (where as they didn't when BL came out) so it should be anticipated here.

i prefer Misses Glass but its not as radio friendly as Forgive Me or as catchy,and Forgive Me is a Summer song.
BTW there are hip hop dancers in the video which was shot a few weeks ago.also there are rumours Akon appears in the video
FM will be released on september 22nd in the UK.while Take A Bow will be the 3rd single for the rest of the world.

I love it too. Weirdly enough her vocals annoy me in the last bit when she sorta sings but doesn't and comes in and out.
Anyway the video suits the song incredibly well.
Cant help but think though... she sounds really out of tune in some bits? Is it just me?

I get what the you mean, especially toward the end.
In my opinion she doesn't suit doing extra 'ooo' 'aaa' bits sliced in. Sing it normally and show off what an amazing voice she has.
