I think it is, that's why me, and many others, like it sooo much. Its only when the controversy gets to extreme levels (like racism in Cbb5) that its bad controversy.

No. I think it's definitely the most discussed, and most talked about (for good and bad reasons), but over all, world wide, there have been far more controversial reality TV shows.
I suppose you could say that for all controversy - it has been the only one to last the distance.

It depends on how you define controversial. I'd say that BB is the most headline-grabbing of the reality shows. But, that's possibly because there's more interest in it than the others.

The thing about I'm a celebrity is that we already know most of the scandal about the contestants, whereas with BB we are being introduced to people who we know nothing about, so the press rake up scandal about them, and it hits the headlines.

I saw about a programme in Japan where a man was just locked in a room for an undeterminable amount of time mainly against his will LOL, and it was televised.
So no HAHA.

Yes, I saw that. He was also very given very little amount of food and water, and occasionly they would send in men to beat him up.

It has been controversial in pretty much everything but Big Brother is definitely not the most controversial show ever.
