Don't You Find It A Tad Strange?

Sorry if this has been posted, but do you guys think it's abit wierd how they are releasing all this information, even the eye when they havent even officially confirmed the start date?

Also whats happening, where getting the news so quick its so wierd compared to other years, well actually correct me if im wrong but i think the build up to BIG BROTHER 5 was exactly the same as this? They released all the information really early?

I think it is a great build up, and i love it how the holding page contains all the opfficial news on it too!

Yeahh they did major advertising in BB5, I remember seeing Black Friday banners and adverts everywhere saying "The Last Ever Friends episode and BB Launch". So hopefully by releasing BB9 info early it means they will do heavy promotion like they did for BB5.

That was one of the best nights. I cried when Friends ended haha, how sad am i?

I have found it strange they're having a countdown for the eye, and also, with regards to the garden pictures, how come their not using that army style green mesh?

It is strange they're so forthcoming with news this year...Still, I don't mind seeing the eye tonight :D

I don't really think its that quick to previous years. They eye has always been released about 3wks before launch and some info doesn't really need to be kept back, ala new presenters.

i just realised that if BB9 starts on June 5th then the first eviction will be on Friday the 13th (Dun Dun Duuun)

Hopefully they won't have any evicitions untill 2-3 weeks in. I much prefer it that way.

C4 never release the official launch date till later on. Its to avoid other channels pitting competition against them.

Not really - we're into the 9th season now, we know they're building a house (and they're aware we know), announcing is merely a formality, it'd be different if the show was new, but like I said, 9th season and all.
