Hiya x

I misewell move in the Help Section lol x

Right..

When i use my laptop on my knee for like 15 minz - it goes burning hot and dosnt cool down for ages x

the fan is going round raelly loud though x

and Im at my desk now - and its burning hot here too.. but i moved from having it on my knee like half an hour ago and its just really hot x


Is there a way of like stopping it going hot ? x

It never used to btw x

I think she has the same one as me. Compaq Presario C700 as I saw in another thread. It's not happened to me yet, fingers crossed.

Mine heats up alot when you leave it on a flat surface, it's weird though cause you using it on your knee.

If you do I had the same problem for 4 months, started off with it overheating, making such a loud noise all the time, then I started to get problems with files being deleted etc.., Got rid of as I was disappointed with compaq and would never have one again, now i'm all happy with my mac :bigsmile:

Vents are on the side and undernearth x

Its over heating because its hotter out and the fan is having to work harder to cool it down, my computer does that too x
