I saw Sally's farewell on Fiver (used to be Five Life) yesterday as they show the next episode and we tend to watch it when my bloke finishes work. I was moved by the farewell episode as well!

On hearing the truth about Sam, Martha's first instinct is to go after Jack and help him however she can. Morag thinks it's a bad idea, but Roman feels Martha should do whatever she thinks is right. But it seems Martha may be in more danger than she thinks when she arrives home to find Sam waiting for her. The next time we see her she is clearly under immense stress, though trying to hide it, and her cheek bears a nasty scratch. She's come to the new Diner to find Roman, and when he finally arrives, they're clearly hiding something.

The next morning, Sam is found washed up on the beach, dead.

I thought I'd revive this thread seen as I kinda forgot about it. I'm gonna try and keep it up to date with spoilers and news!

After the wave of high profile departures the Bay has seen over the last few months, (Cassie, Drew, , Loukas, Sally, Sam), fans will be relieved to know 5 newcomers have began to settle into the Bay (or are on their way soon).

Actors Tessa James, Esther Anderson and Jordan Rodrigues have set their sights in Summer Bay over the last few weeks as Nicole Franklin, Charlie Buckton and Jai Fernandez respectively, with Rebecca Breeds and Paul Pantano set to move onto Australian screens over the coming weeks.

Breeds has joined the cast as Ruby Buckton, the sister of Charlie and daughter of Ross, who has tagged along to the Bay on a whim to follow her family and sends the locals into a spin on her first day in town. Pantano joins as the mysterious Elliot, who has links to Roman's SAS past and wastes no time in hooking up with someone close to the ex-soldier's heart.

Add to that the return of Christie Hayes and the promotion to regular of Celeste Dowdell it seems like the Bay will once more be a hive of activity.

Jodi Gordon (Martha) is to appear in the next series of Dancing With The Stars, according to The Daily Telegraph. The popular actress isn't the first Home and Away star to venture out onto the dancefloor, with Bec Hewitt (Hayley) and her dance partner Michael Mizner winning the first season and Ada Nicodemou (Leah) and Aric Yegudkin winning the third. Ex-Home and Away stars Holly Brisley (Amanda), Jason Smith (Robbie), Chris Hemsworth (Kim) and Tim Campbell (Dan) have also appeared in the show but didn't quite manage to pick up the prestigious winning title.

FIRST Kate Ritchie rolled out of Summer Bay, now actor Mark Furze is set to rock on from the Channel 7 soap.

The Home & Away favourite, who plays Ric Dalby, will be toasted by his TV mates at a Kings Cross gig which will double as his farewell party.

Furze is set to pursue his music career full-time as the frontman for his new band Falcon Road, to be launched at the Empire Hotel tonight.

The invite-only event will see Furze perform in front of industry heavies, including promoter Michael Chugg, as well as his soap castmates.

The Logie nominee has used his TV profile as a launch pad for a music career, finishing in the top three of UK celebrity karaoke contest, Soapstar Superstar.

He plans to move to the UK to launch his music careeer after his success on the reality show. He has recently filmed his last scenes on the Bay.

FORMER Funniest Home Videos host Toni Pearen has waltzed into Channel 7's Dancing with the Stars line-up.

Pearen will compete against a range of celebrities including radio babe Cal Wilson, former Hi-5 star Charli Delaney, boxer Danny Green and Home and Away's Jodi Gordon (Martha MacKenzie).

Logie winner Lincoln Lewis (Geoff Cambell), Sunrise's James Tobin and Australia's Got Talent judge Red Symons are also expected to be among the Dancing stars.

It is unkown whether Linc and Jodi's participation in the contest with effect there characters in the soap (Geoff and Martha).

Speculation still abounds that self-confessed drug addict Ben Cousins will also take to the floor.
