I hope it's 10pm. Big Brother is an adult show, so if you can't watch it because you have school the next door or you parents won't let you stay up that late you shouldn't be watching it in the first place.

half the people who watch bb, are under 18 so it needs to be on that time really, in my opinion, if they are thinking of changing the time, it should be 9:30

For a start 9.30 wouldn't work. It needs to be on the hour.

Half of the audience are under 18? Really? I'd like to see where you got that from. The scheduled time should appeal to the masses not school children who can't stay up until 11pm.

Don't get me wrong, when I was at school I watched Big Brother, but I could stay up until 11pm.

History has proven the show works better at a later time slot. 9pm should be reserved to shows such as The F Word, Grand Designs and Channel 4 documentaries which regularly pull in 4-5 million viewers. This way Big Brother can piggy back on the high viewing figures from the hour before. When it was on a 9pm it just felt like Big Brother was on too much and saturated the schedule because it was on prime time every night.

Maybe have it on at 9pm on a Wednesday or something but the regular slot should be 10pm.

Well BB5 was on at 10pm each night and pulled in 5-6 million.

Most people who have a 9-5 job don't go to bed at 10pm, more like 11pm/12am.

The only series which was consistently scheduled at 9pm was BB8, and the viewing figures were amazing weren't they?

I hope it's 10pm. I work 10-7's usually and that's perfect as I don't get tired till about 11-11:30pm.

9 is too early!

I would prefer it at 10pm but this year a 9pm time slot wouldn't be bad because of how awful ITV are doing, its only competition would be what is on BBC1 but thats the same for the 10pm slot too. No matter where it is scheduled its only competition is BBC1.

There's even less competetion at 10pm. Just news on BBC1 and ITV1, some documentary or something on BBC2 then news again at 10.30pm. Luckily news isn't an interest to the majority of Big Brother's audience, otherwise it would be doomed at 10pm.

BBC1 show good dramas at 9pm as do ITV1 which are more threatening to BB's ratings.

If you look at a Channel 4 show such as Desperate Housewives, which airs at 10pm, it shares a similar audience to Big Brother and does very well at that time slot.

True the good thing for BB9 is that ITV are struggling to get over 3.5million in the 9pm slot and over 1.5million in the 10pm slot. There is less competition if any at 10pm so I think thats best for the show. No matter where it is scheduled I am sure it could easily beat ITV regularly and sometimes BBC1.

Only if BBBM moves back to earlier in the evening (and tones down the smut). They can't run a live Big Mouth unless the highlights finish by 10pm.
