I think we need a change in the evivtion fomat. Here is how i would like things....

7:55 - Davina announces the names and numbers for the housemates a(To Save) and says to join her in 5 minutes for the eviction show.

8:00 - Uusual Titles, except a slightly different version is shown, with images and montanges of Davina eviting and interviewing aswell as the housemates up for Eviction. Numbers are announced again.(To Save)

8:03 - Highlights P1. begin.

8:10- Break

This continues until 8:50, with the numbers being announced throughout the night.

8:50:- Davina talks to the house: She will reveal the housmate(s), depending on how many people are up for eviction, (For this to work there will have to be a minumum of 3 people) who have the MOST VOTES so far. The remmaining housemates' lines go open again, but now to evict who they would like to go. Show finishes at 9.

10:00 Show back on, wit the annoucnement who is evicted and the interview.

I just think that they need changing slightly, I'm sick of the way it works at the moment.

There's no need for the UK eviction format to change. Its extremely advanced for worldwide BB's.

that is completely unneccessary. there is no real need to change the eviction format, especcially the one you have suggested. so many different stages just baffles the viewer. keep it nice and simple!!

I'd just like them to bring friends and family pleas back to the eviction show. Davina just reading out the numbers is pointless but still pretty effective. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

No way - they're "EVICTions", it's all about evicting, and voting people OUT is Big Brother's unique selling point - and it should stay that way. I do agree though that in weeks when a number of HMs are up (six or more) it would be a good idea to reveal the two with the most votes and then the result a bit later.

As for eviction show format - two ideas depending on time.

Idea 1 Two shows 9-9.30pm / 10-10.50pm

The first show is mainly highlights. Davina tops and tails it and plugs the phone numbers, but the eviction stuff is left until show two.

At 10pm it's back with Davina and the full eviction show. The first part has the preview features, beginning with a profile of the nominees, talking to their friends and family, a bit of chat with members of the crowd, a quick review of the last 7 days and the return of the Incredible Travelling Diary Room Chair.

After the break it's 10.15pm and a 30-second countdown until the lines close. We then find out how the housemates have been preparing for eviction with a brief 4-5 minutes of highlights from earlier in the day, before crossing to the house for the announcement. The evictee gets one minute to leave, and then they're out.

Part 3 is then the interview.

When there are double evictions the profile of nominees and chat to friends and family are moved to the first show, with the second show opening with the lines closing and first eviction, with interview followed by second eviction in part 2 and then the second interview in part 3.

Idea 2: One hour show
I've always thought the one-hour highlights and then 30-minute eviction show hasn't really worked and has felt far too much like a regular show with an eviction tagged on, rather than the eviction show itself.

However, I did think it worked better in the latter stages of BB7 where due to double evictions they had the eviction and interview within the one hour show.

So the show would move to 9-10pm. Before getting into the highlights we get a profile of the nominees, and then the highlights split over three parts, with a brief chat with friends/family or the crowd leading into the breaks.

The lines close at the beginning of part 3 and then the final chunk of highlights are from "earlier today", before we have the eviction announcement (and eviction), with the interview in part 4.

Finally, whatever the set up one thing is crucial - Davina is back in the studio for the announcements. It always worked so much better, looked far better on screen and Davina has always been more comfortable in the studio too. Most importantly though in the studio she is talking direct to the viewers at home, rather than having to fight the Elstree mob for our attention.

I've always preferred the one hour show with interviews over an hour and a half show. The highlights seem to drag on and on. I wouldn't be against Davina going back to the studio to do the announcement but I'd only like it if two things happen. One of those things is that she presents the main links from the crowd and the other being that the studio audience are present and are allowed to clap and just clap whilst she is talking to the house. I think its very dull without the crowd noise and it seems quite serious, intense and sometimes uncomfortable.

I think they shoudl scrap the indoor studio, and it should be outisde (like the final, but smaller). On final night, there should be more than one stage.

Wildcat!

only thing Id like them to change,is to have davina talk to the house inside the studio, with no chanting of get such and such out, and no booing, so the housemates dont know whats going on outside. It will ensure the surprise, when they come out, and not have predictable nominations the following week. After all, they re not supposed to know who is unpopular.

bb_mad_fan i think it was all going well in your idea until you mentioned that they should swap it back to vote to evict halfway through the night - it should definitely be vote to save to eliminate the boring hms:sleep:
