Applause store booking clearly states that BBLB will be shown on channel 4 for big brother 9

I thought it would be on Channel 4 this year, looks like Channel 4 are trying to make Big Brother a huge show again but where would it be scheduled?

The new season of The Simpsons C4 are shoowing ends about the same time as BB9 starts so BBLB could be replacing The Simpsons.

BBLB before Hollyoaks seems like a good combo to me. I hope its true, theres nothing on at 6 so I watch the news instead normally.

Seems like C4 are going all out to make BB9 a success. House is bigger, the promotion/advertising has started early, the eye is very 'eye-catching' if you will excuse the pun, a new format/theme expected and now the news of BBLB back on C4, this is all good stuff.

Emmerdale however get 6m during summer, and BB would stand a fair chance against it

Or....
5:00pm: BBLB
5:30pm: Simpsons
6:00pm: Simpsons
6:30pm: Hollyoaks

Sounds like a ratings puller:spin2:

no earlier than 7 too earlier, they shld just leave it on e4

Scarlett.

Why?
Most people cant watch it on E4 due to parents hogging the Sky/Freeview watching "My house needs a door" or something

BBLB was amazing on C4 it prepared you for the later show

I agree 100%. I had to literally, steal the remote off my dad and change the channel, he got a bit annoyed with that. Im happy that I can watch it upstairs in my room.

BBLB isn't aiming to compete with Corrie, the two shows have different audiences. For your schedule where would Paul O Grady go?

Scarlett.
15-05-2008, 08:58 PM
Well R&J used to go off for a few weeks during BB, so Paul could do the same

and yes the show does have to different audiences, but a few from BBLB might wanna watch Corrie

Its all about Ratings and schedules in TV world

Spike
15-05-2008, 09:00 PM
But only a few people will. BBLB was on at 7.30 last year and did fine, easily getting over 1m for some episodes so moving to the same time on C4 could only help its ratings.

Scarlett.
15-05-2008, 09:02 PM
Aye true, but the 6pm slot would get even higher ;)

Maybe not 5pm though, that was only a suggestion

Spike
15-05-2008, 09:04 PM
Yeah 6pm would be a better time but it will all come down to if C4 decide to rest The Simpsons for the summer.

Scarlett.
15-05-2008, 09:06 PM
Aye and IMO it needs one
