the BB8 line says it all - a cr*p start to a cr*p series.
i loved BB3 when she started in the diary room. that was good.
i liked BB7 too.
i hope she says something like
"expect everything, assume nothing" or "nothing stays the same"

Definitely, then people speak about your death and you are forever remembered as "him/her that got hit by a bus" rather than "him/her that went in their sleep" because that doesn't really narrow it down.

I loved the CBB4 one, it really made me think. I thought Davina made a mistake when she said 10 celebrities, 11 housemates.
Back in CBB4 such a twist was unthinkable because really we had only had about 4 or 5 twists in the history of Big Brother until the series that followed CBB4.

I think a good opening line would be;
"Let the battle of the ego's commence"
which ties into the theme of 'War & Order' and also people's opinions of what type of people feature on BB.

I'm hoping something quirky, possibly, "So addicting that you could give up smoking. You know what that means, it's Big Brother!" I've always loved BB7's opening, if the second half of it were as good as the beginning, it'd be one of the best ever.

What about (this is a mad idea by the way)
Davina says "Hello!!!!", shes her normal self, all happy and jolly. Then..the crowd stops shouting..theres a quick noise like electricity has failed. Davina's head lowers.
Then, Big Brother begins to speak - Davina would be miming what Big Brother was saying, so that it would look like BB had taken over her body. "This year, dreams will be shattered - Big Brother never lies"
Roll the titles!
It's sort of Doctor Who inspired, and a mad idea, it would just be interesting and funny though!! :banana:
