OK, so I've decided to do one more project quickly before BB9 arrives :) I'm extremely pleased with this house and it's my favourite one yet. The theme is curves and I've used alot of bold colours and used strange, new design techniques, hope you all like them!

Points:
- Entrance is slightly more central.
- Stairs have been re-angled yet again.
- Walkway no longer runs along the side of the house, but is still extended from BB6/7
- Platform is bigger

Next: Entrance hall.

It's great, the details such as the blue lighting make it look superb, I hate to be a pain but isn't there a risk of the walkway falling, seeing as their nothing to support it:tongue:

Brekkie

Looks good - like the way it's not just a straight walkway either.

Conor

LOL - double bonus though, not only may it do the evictee serious injury, it'll also take out some of the Elstree mob at the same time. Result!

I like it Conor, although I'm noticing a distinct lack of mirrors in the corridor?

Really liked your other house too, and your work on Elliebrew's. Been lurking for a while! :)

Brekkie
18-05-2008, 08:22 PM
Can't quite get my head around the entrance hall - seems a bit confusing, though I think that's the point.

I guess then you're putting the stairs in the house itself!

Glenn.

The bathroom looks soo much bigger than the bedroom? And the bedroom is to scale? Are you sure?

Brekkie

That houseplan looks so random and so like it won't work - but I'm sure you can be trusted Conor.

Teasing with the bedroom though - I'm guessing two floors?

Brilliant house Conor.

Conor
19-05-2008, 03:31 PM
Thanks guys for the feedback! No one has guessed the bedroom plan yet though :P

Clue: The beds are placed on the floor???

Xander
19-05-2008, 03:43 PM
Really do love you house, all your sketch-up work is fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing some more stuff.

MR.K!

I like it. Is the Dairy room kind of built into a tunnel?

Conor
19-05-2008, 05:56 PM
Thanks for the comments so far guys!

And nope, that isn't the DR entrance, its the main entrance/exit to the house. The diary room is accessed via that pink circle you can see in some pics.

You've really got a flair for designing on sketchup, although I'm not sure about some of the colours - the floor looks really dull compared to some of the featured walls!

There's a lack of mirrors too, usually BB have a long mirror to cover all the kitchen shenanigans!

Love the presentation though!

Brekkie
19-05-2008, 08:03 PM
The pinks a bit... well, pink!

Not too sure yet, have to see a bit more I think to see how the kitchen fits in with the rest of the living area.

One thing though - stairs on the outside, not on the inside. So is this living space "upstairs" then?

Conor
19-05-2008, 08:09 PM
thanks for your feedback guys!

Unfortunately there wasn't really space for mirrors in the kitchen apart from one small one by the store, but I guess all the kitchen focus will be from mirrors on the other side of the room anyway :)

And Brekkie, correct  I decided it would be something new and different. When I release the garden pics you'll see the alterations I've made to the roof.

I've decided to leave the forum due to pointless bans, good members leaving and others leaving via being banned. I've also noticed there have been alot more new, annoying, or 'smart'/cheeky members joining. It's just not the same any more. I wish everybody good luck in the future, and good luck with exams! :spin2::thumbs:

I realised before leaving I hadn't finished my house. So I'll post some remaining photos here:

I'm still baffled by this - so have you just raised the whole house and garden due to no stairs in the entrance hall?

And I share your pain Conor - I hate the influx of newbies into BB forums when the season gets going.

i just wanted to say without causing anything.. we were all newbies once, it just depends on the newbies personality, as TiBB becomes a bit bigger and people are more aware of it of course more people will join and it will be a little less personal and there will be people that cause trouble and some rude and some really nice people who you like, just the way it goes
