Yeh, obviously there are people aged 18+ that watch it but it just appeals more to my age group.

I think it mainly applies to youngsters, teenage to early twenties but I hear plenty of parents watch it to, otherwise they may feel left out for 13 weeks :thumbs2:

Well, I'm 14 and a half now, and I started watching during BB5, so I was watching fully since P6 lol Not as bad as my cousin in her 3rd year of primary school. She learnt half the HM's names last year!

Im 15 and I started watching at BB2(was about 8/9). But I only really got into it on the final of BB2. By BB3 I was hooked.

These results will not be representative anyway as this forum contains mostly teenagers.

I would suggest that the show is aimed at, as already stated, 16 - 34 year olds, however, many people watch it younger (by my calculation, as I have watched BB since the very first week in bb1, I must have been 10) plus many mature people watch it, such as my grandad who is 88!!

this poll is not really accurate because we are only a small minority of fans, thus don't properly represent every demographic that watches. the average age of people on D.S. is almost certainly higher than the average age of people on TiBB for example.

i'm 13, the only reason i got into BB is because my parents used to watch it from BB1, around bb7, they stopped watching, but by that time i had become addicted. Now they only watch like the finals and launch nights, and maybe a few shows so they know, what i go on tlaking about

I'd say the average age of Big Brother viewers is 18-35.

I know a lot of people on here think it's 13-18 age range, remember that younger teenagers probably have more time and inclination to visit forums like these. The more casual viewers just watch it when it's on, and they are in their 20s and 30s.

When I was at school, hardly anyone talked about Big Brother yet when I started work (with much older people) it was discussed much more.
