for those of you doing exams this year, have they started yet and if so how are they going? if not, when do they start? and how are you coping etc.

Done Maths Non-Calculator and English Lit, and so far, they've been really easy.
Our teachers went on about how difficult they'd be, and I've had few problems.
I'm feeling much more confident now :D

I had my first GCSE exams today... I had English Lit, which went quite well, and I.T which was ok, but there were some hard questions. XD

I have Biology tomorrow. Eeek!

Already done 6 exams so far, English Lit dragged on, had to rush what i was writing in the end as i didn't have enough time, ICT was pretty straightforward knew most of the stuff.

Wow, 3 hours?? That's long... my longest exam was yesterday, 2.5 hours.

Ok, unless you count art... which was 10 hours, but that was a little different. XD

i had Art GCSE last year and it was 10 hours thats a bit different though lol
Business AS comes in 3 units 1hr each and its 3 hours straight... luckily i enjoy business so i dont mind that much

dont worry the thing with art is what you might think is rubbish is wonderful to someone else... i hated some of my work which the teacher thought was some of my best
so all work will be credited for...


Biology isnt too bad just try and apply it to your own body lol just imagine it all working and somehow that worked for me 45mins isnt too bad either lol

Exams are from June 4th to June 12th for me. I'm doing the Leavign Cert which is Ireland's A-Levels

4th:English 1 and Home Ec.
5th:English 2
6th:Maths 1
9th:Maths 2 and Irish 1
10th:Irish 2 and Business
11th:French and History
12th:Biology

Not one single break!

28th May - PSYC101 - Psychology - 3 hours. (Essays)
31st May - PSYC102 - Psychology - 3 hours. (Maths and Statistics, eek)
5th June - ASSC102 - Criminology - 3 hours. (Essays)

Only got a few more so I'm hoping for a miracle... I want to do well in those so I can do OK overall.

I had my last one on Wed. They went ok, but if I'd have put in more effort this year then they could have went a lot better, but that's life.

Hello, I felt this was the most appropriate topic to explain why I've not been on in weeks and weeks: exams!

So far I've had English, Maths and French, I'm pretty sure I did great in Maths and French, English, well you never really know I guess, and I have Modern Studies on Thursday (essentially it's politics, if you were unaware) and then German the Thursday after that. I'm feeling so unprepared and have no motivation right now, meh. So apart from that, I've also been busy, my girlfriend's pregnant (kidding! She's not my girlfriend. Ha ha ha :bigsmile:) and so on. I hope you're all doing well!

Mine are going alright-ish but I completely messed up this year. But I'm one of those lucky people where in the exam everything just comes back to them and I can just write utter bollocks and pass. I've done 4 which were all As's and resits, I've got another 5 to go (A2).

I got pretty good As results but I don't think I'll do so well this time. In all fairness I'll be happy with anything above a C because my A Levels are only for my CV, I'm not going Uni.
