FED up of missing The Friday Night Project while out on the tiles?

Well, great news – it’s moving to SUNDAY.

Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr will still front the show when it returns as, er, The Sunday Night Project in the late summer.

A source said: “Channel 4 doesn’t have a big Sunday night show. They hope the move will change that.”

I was expecting it to change the day or not come back this summer, with BB looking like it will be on 9pm-10.30pm maybe shows which usually go between the two eviction shows like 8 out of 10 cats will move to 10.30pm

Its a great move by C4 there is really no competition on a sunday for its audience.

it will probably get much higher viewers now

It was the ultimate Friday night viewing. BB followed by FNP. I'm not happy with this decison by C4. It has worked well for seven series, so why change it?

I think it will be better because theres nothing on on a Sunday. Hopefully the new day will bring with it a major overhaul, something thats 3 or 4 series overdue.

A lot of people are also out on a Friday so more people will watch on a Sunday.

Very strange move - and even if BB is on until 10.30pm, no reason to move it. FNP has always aired at 10.30pm during Big Brother anyway, and on occasions at 11.05pm.

That would be hard seen as it's only been on since 2005.

I'm happy about this. Make something to look forward to on Sundays.

What has that got to do with anything? Since series 3 it was has always ran along side Big Brother (except series 6). I always enjoyed watching BB eviction followed by FNP. Channel4 have just ruined a great Friday night line-up.

Argh, thats just... stupid. =/ I agree, Arneldo C4 have just ruined Friday night's line up ¬_¬ Trust C4 do to something like that, FNP has always had good ratings, so why bother changing it now? It just seems pointless to me, meh, s'ppose we can't do anything about it...

I wonder if this move is anything to do with the return of The Charlotte Church Show?

Charlotte isnt back until after FNP (SNP, whatever), so it wouldnt clash anyway.

You said "It has worked well for seven year when it hasn't, it's worked well for just over two years.

I said " It has worked well for seven series", not seven years.

Need reading glasses?

Pretty clueless move. I don't think there was really need for it. Thursday/Friday is like C4's comedy nights! I love all the programmes on then! Hopefully they will rearrange after this series again.

I think its a good move seeing as sunday night television is just generally boring but, I prefer it on a friday seeing as thats when most of the comedy is on.
