Audition Tapes or Entrance VTs?:

Last year before the housemates entered the house we saw an edited VT of them talking about themselves. Every series before that we just saw clips of their auditions. Which would you prefer for BB9?

Yeah but the auditions tape are clips from many auditions when they are trying to get in but in the VTs they already know they're in.

BB7 used a mix of audition tapes and recorded footage. A proper audition tape has just them talking to the camera used in BB5 and BB6 but I much prefer the BB7 approach than to any other series. I prefer the black background and a set amount of time (1 minute).

Yeah but the auditions tape are clips from many auditions when they are trying to get in but in the VTs they already know they're in.
No they don;t, the VTs are recorded throughout the auditioning process according to BB8s lesley

Audition tapes deffo. The Entrance VT's like last year seemed so acted out and forced, whereas the Auditions are spontaneous, what you see is what you get.

I think the Entrance VT'S like in BB8 were good. I also think you get more info about the housemate and I like the music that they use..... sets the soundtrack for the summer.

Audition tapes are a bit..... blahhh!!

Depends. After I viewed the BB8 Audition Tapes, it seems like they just had the housemate repeat parts of their audition tape.

As long as there's a song throughout it, I don't really midn.

Yeah me too.... its like a little chunk of their personalities!!

For example... all the songs have something to do with the characters

Glamorous..... Charley thought she was glam!!
Acceptable in the 80'S........ Shabnam was very 80's
Bringing Sexy Back...... Ziggy was the male sex symbol

sometimes its not the lyrics of the song but the actual music that suits the person

Lesley: Back to Black.... very shrewd
Tracey: a raver style song
Samanda: really fun, upbeat song

Audition Tape's are better. You see how hard there willing to work just to get something, where as the Entrance VT's just show there delight to attention.
