is the logo unoriginal?

i think so. i mean, i really like the logo but i think the initial idea is a bit too much like last years logo... almost as if someone had a piece of glass with last year's logo on and dropped it on te floor...

i think theyv done the whole dartboard eye to the maxx now and next year should come up with something COMPLETELY different that doesnt involve dartboard parrterns, vertical or horizontal stripes or cirlcles/spirals

anyone agree???

yes the colours are different, but its like someones just edited last year to look different and i just dont think it is very original, although i do actually think its cool =]

i just think they could have come up with something that was like NOTHING wev had before

i think the ads are original and bring the logo into its own, but i remember first seeing the eye BEFORE the adverts thinking "is that it?" and saw it as a majorly edited version of last year, which i really liked.


but to be honest, last years logo had a feel off the bb4 logo, just with bigger segments and the colours were random

The only thing remotely similar to last year is the diagonal lines. Its like saying the BB5 and BB6 eyes were similar because they had vertical lines.

i think it is myself... and i thought that bb6 could have been different aswell tbh, i just like it to be 100% original in its initial idea, and i dont think we have had one since bb5, the vertical srtipes hadnt been done before and since then we have had

bb6 also with vertical lines,

bb7 with its spiral, similar to bb3(when you look at the massive picture of it)

bb8 was alot like bb4 with its dartboard, just bigger segments and colours more random

and now this looks like a B+W version where someones forgot to remove a bit of red and then dropped it on the floor

its DIFFERENT i wouldnt call it original... if it was original there would be NO similarities with ANY other logo

Its got to be similar to other logos, it can't just completely change to a different shape because then it wouldn't be noticed as a logo for Big Brother. The BB9 eye is original.

i just mean like use a different pattern like squares or something that hasnt been done before and i kno the shattered thing hasnt been done but it just looks like LAST YEAR'S logo has been shattered without the colours

I can see a similarity to the BB4 eye but not much it still looks original to me
